Hotel Hakoniwa is a very cozy place in Pokhara, only couple of minutes walk from the lakeside where the owner, Govinda and his team make one feel very welcome with their incredible hospitality! I always stay at this peaceful getaway to amazing Pokhara!

A happy and problem free one month stay at this clean, well furnished hotel. The atmosphere is good. The hosts share with us lots of info free, very helpful but never pushy. The location is good, close to the lake and many restaurants.

Very nice hotel. First hotel I stayed in, where nothing was partly broken, damaged of never maintained. It's a family runned hotel and they cook fresh for you by themselves. And it was delicious! Clean bathroom, blankets, floor and beds. Nice hot shower with enough water. You can also arrange activities by him, for a low price, so you don't...

The proprietor, Govinda, and his nephew, Suzan, both speak excellent English to an idiomatic level of proficiency, that makes organising things easier than the oft encountered misunderstandings. The good sized room was clean and comfortable with TV. Wi-Fi is free but not particularly fast. There is no air-con but the ceiling mounted variable speed fan was fine. Several windows with...

At the time I was staying at Lake View Resort but they couldnt provide a room for an extra night. I liked Pokhara and wanted to stay longer... They advised me Hakoniwa. Its only a 5min walk in the direction of the main shopping&restaurant area. The hotel is located in a side street. About 150meters up the street. Nice and...

Situated in a nice, quiet area, close to the lake side, with beautiful Himalaya view from the roof top (when weather is cloudless). Comfortable and clean rooms with a ceiling fan (no AC), a TV set, bathroom with shower and hot water. Although the government of Nepal has introduced limitations in electricity distribution, no shortage in Hotel Hakoniwa since there...

Hotel Hakoniwa was the best and cleanest hotel I stayed during my travelling in Nepal. The rooms have beautiful and very tasty design and are spotless clean with fresh bed sheets.
