Stayed here from 14th March to 19th March 2016, was here for a holidays. I must say as usual accommodation in taipei generally doesn't disappoints, East Dragon Hotel is strategically located at the side of XiMenDing the night market area, short walk away from the 24hrs Watsons and stones throw away from the awesome belt of night market. I would...

a very old hotel, but you'll choose here probably for the location, as its right opposite ximending, perfect place for shopping and even late night snacks. hotel room is small, u'll have to get hot water from the water dispenser along the corridor. bathroom is big though. breakfast served is not buffet style, instead it's a set meal with drinks.

The hotel room was clean and stayed at room 309, wifi is kinda fast, just a little bit slow sometimes and the housekeeping staffs cleans the room always on time. The location is very convenient, 5 mins walk or less to mtr station and 10 mins to The red house. This hotel can find alot of entertainment and street foods...

There are lots of hotels around Ximending and some, actually inside that street. But for me, I'd go back to East Dragon the next time I'm in Taipei. Located at the corner of Hankou and Hanzhong streets, one is literally across the popular Ximending pedestrian area (can't miss it), and yet enough distance away from all the noise at night....

Stayed at East dragon a few years ago which was pretty good so i went back again this year and noted several changes. Now, freego bus from the airport only does pick up after 3pm so staying in the ximending area is less appealing as you still need to travel to taipei main station and to the hotel and the...

We got the room with no window so we slept till late. The hotel is located in the back entrance of ximen market, there is also a black bridge near by. Tons of food around that area. The breakfast was a plate in 2 egg ham n sausage. U can get better food outside.

I was in Taipei for a short holiday and we chose this hotel. Its located next to Xi Men Ding, which is a popular place with many shops and eateries that open from mid-day till around 11pm daily. Its a short 5 minute walk to the train station. The rooms on my floor have been refurbished and have modern look...

Good location, although the market around the area closes early (around 10-11 pm). 5 minute walk to the subway station. Room is clean, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom is small and breakfast is the same everyday. Overall, very pleasant stay and excellent value for money. Only gripe would be that the hotel staff were not responsive to my emails asking...

Stayed 3 nights although not concecutive. Hotel is a no frills no fuss hotel - no bell boy so you need to lig your own luggage up - from the price point one should expect that. Bed pillows are soft but mattress is firm and provides a good night's rest. The biggest draw of this hotel is its location -...
