Overall Hotel is well maintained and this is an old hotel. Room is standard but to me it is not bright enough. Need to have more lights. Breakfast is offered by the restaurant next door cost TWD300 each and I didn't try.

This hotel was recommended to us by a local who live in the neighborhood. It is in an ultra convenient location: minutes walk to MRT, shopping, local street eateries, & restaurants, grocery stores,... Within a block, there are 2 Sogo department stores to choose from. One block, you will find the street with local eateries, a McDonald, and a Wellcome...

it has prime location but it wasn't what we need. i was with my 90 year old aunt. she can walk very well but the steps at the front entrance made her worry. it was not an easy job. also we booked a car the streets are mainly busy so we have to wait till after 10 am to avoid...

A good location, easy to go to the station, we had arrived at mid-night but there still has staffs to help us for check in. The surroundings not bad. I had been there for two nights, I don't know the price but I think it not cheap. But when we were checking in, we had paid for two beds (it...

First time stayed in this hotel. Pleasantly surprised that Deluxe room is not too small (about the same size of Balcony suite of cruise ships). Very clean, serve bottle water, fruit every day. Most of the guests are decent and bellman did a good jobs to keep your luggage even you are checked out. Clean and quiet.

Stayed for two nights, first night was OK, 2nd night was not, I found out they were still using old bed sheets , got a very rough surface on it, feeling very bad for sleep, asked for change, but their house keeping staffs were off, so they asked me to do it by myself. After a serious discuss, they had...

Tripdvisor provided many pictures of the rooms of royal palace, very decent and spacious but room 603 has two big tables put along the end of the bed leaving little space to walk and a big palace style design sofa which suits a 300m room instead of a 120m, it is very homely as all furniture do not match each...

Stayed in Taipei for two weeks and had a great experience at the Royal Palace Hotel! The service was excellent and the location was outstanding as well! The wifi and the food and drinks found in the rooms were all inclusive and there was even a gym on the top floor! A breakfast buffet in the morning was also included...

We stayed here or two nights. This is a very good hotel for its location to MRT with endless shopping and restaurants just steps away. The room is clean and spacious. The staff is very professional and helpful. Though they don't have a restaurant but the connecting Japanese theme restaurant offered a discount to the hotel guests. We ate breakfast...
