We stayed in Movylodge for 3 nights. Our main purpose is to shop in Pratunam, Siam Paragon area. However, I had read some of the reviews, they said it's nearby Pratunam. No! It's not! Under the hot sun and inhaling dirty dust, walking from Movylodge to Pratunam definitely is not an enjoyable exercise. It's more than 15mins for sure. No doubt it's very near to Ratchathewi BTS station, this is unless you want to travel around using BTS station. From the pictures, it looks modern and cozy. But in actual fact, every night it's crowded and pack of students. I am not sure what package they are offering to their local students here. It's always full and crowded. There is no place for their in-house guest to sit and enjoy some quiet and comfortable coffee (unless you want to sit outside without aircon). And if you have a leg/knee problem and height fright. Don't go to this hostel. Because they don't provide lift and you have to carry your bag up the stair with steep steps. Every time we walked to the toilet, we felt like falling down, the staircase really steep. Ok, now some good comment - Breakfast was good, it's a buffet style and food quality was up to par. Only a small issue here is guests allowed to smoke at the open-air dining area (which this dining area is one of the best spot for morning breakfast). Amenities - Shampoo, Shower Gel and Towel are provided. . Staff - Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They can speak good English too. Overall, we think this hostel is not what we wanted and I used to stay in another hotel near Pratunam which only few dollar extra. But the reason I chose this hostel was because their design and breakfast. However, except the breakfast which I am happy about. Other than this, this hostel has nothing to impress me so far.…

Even the price is a little bit more expensive than these other dorm, but it's worth your money. The room is good, bed is big and clean, bath room is great too, they have fans so the bath room aren't wet, no water on the floor. Breakfast is simple with bread, sausages, egg, corn flake, milk and tea, but you can choose whatever and eat how much you want, it's buffet. Staffs are nice. The best thing here is that they have a small and beautiful coffee shop on 1st floor, open 24/7, and the check in counter open 24/7 too, you can check in and check out at mid-night, or even 3am they's still there to help you. the only problem is that the stairs are quite slippy and scare, the steps are very small, all the rooms are one the 3rd floor and up to, so we have to climb at least 2 stair or more to get in. if you have lot of or big luggages, this hotel is not the good choice, but if you are just solo traveller for couple of days, yeah, that's worth your money…

We are from Vietnam and stayed in the hostel for 4 nights. The best impression in here is the kindness of staff, they are very helpful and always willing to give us some recommendation for meals, shopping, how to move in the city and transportation. The room is quite nice, clean and the breakfast was prepared carefully. Thank Movylodge Hostel so much!!! Hope to have chance to come back Bangkok again!

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights,i'm very satisfied for the hospitality and appearance from this hotel.the hotel view is very Instagramable,near from BTS Stasion and Pratunam wholesale market & platinum mall. You can go to Siam Mall n MBK mall by walk if u want,its not far for me. If u moslem,just go to phetchabury street (across street from the hotel) and u can find so many halal restaurant (farida fartonee,etc). The hotel also give halal breakfast (halal sausage and beef),i'm very happy for that.for all, is the best place to stay in bangkok.

Staff gave us a discount when we checked in around 2am. Stayed in the mixed dormitory. Their system is very good. You will have your own shoe storage & locker for safekeeping. Breakfast was simple but filling.

Generally, I love the environment of the hostel. Especially its common area, with a constant flow of jazz music, one can relax in the common area while reading a book or browsing internet. There are also some students studying in the common area at Night as it’s also a cafe. Breakfast is simple and could suffice The cons: 1) toilets are too small for bigger size person 2) no hanging place for bath towels in the room Location is great. Just right in front of bts train station. We also use Grab and Grabbike to plenty of our locations. GrabFood are very useful while you don’t feel like going out.

This hostel is very clean and calm - it's easy to get a good nights sleep. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is good for being included at a hostel (there are fried eggs, toasts and some vegetables). However, it is not a social hostel. Instead the feeling between guests is more like it usually is at a hotel.

Very strategic and easy to found. Near transportation BTS to whoever likes to travel fast and cheap. Clean room with curtain privacy at every bed. The breakfast was delicious, complete with the fresh orange juice.

Movyloge Hostel is super cute. Everything is in white, all the time you can listen to some music and the staff is always smiling and helpful. It was my first time in a dorm and I found it really great. To be in capsule help to have your personal space. Everything is beautiful as said before : the entrance, the kitchen, the dorms. The bathrooms aren’t however in their best shape but that still great. And there is a terrasse, where people can smoke. As a non-smoker it was a turn down because of the smell. But I would definitely recommend it and return here for another stay in Bangkok For the backpackers : the hostel give towels, shampoo and body wash !
