My colleague and I stayed here for a couple of nights, for buisiness meetings. The hotel location is excellent, being in a really busy area with a great choice of restaurants and bars in a short walking distance. The hotel reception is within a shopping mall, and there is no bar, just a lobby area. The rooms are of reasonable quality, with a good, comfortable bed and a desk/work area. The breakfast is a buffet, with massive choice of Asian and Westrern food, with eggs cooked to order.
Disliked · The demand for a 1000Bht cash depost per room, refundable on departure, but only after the rooms had been inspected! This added quite a delay to the check out process :-(

The place is near to Metro station. Reachable to everywhere. There are near by Indian restaurants for Indians. Can enjoy walking on the roads at night. Recommended. They place roasted cashew, pista packets, don’t assume like they are complementary, nothing is complementary or free in this hotel. They over charge everything like 35 baht roasted pista pack will cost you 100 baht there, 10 bath water bottle will cost you 40 baht. This is kind of uncomfortable and unfair on their part.

Nice location and just walking distance shopping and BTS Nana. Hotel room nice but room are not sound proof. Whole nights Tuktuk run very bad sound. Housekeeping needs to more care about room cleaning

Am extremely comfortable hotel, with very reasonable tariff, awesome air-conditioning,centrally located,with clean linen, decent breakfast and warm and helpful reception. The General Manager Mr Vikaran is a pleasant personality with outstanding communication skills especially in English which is such a pleasant surprise in a city where one is looking for a decent English speaking staff. He not only guided me on various city routes but also helped me in carrying my heavy luggage items from the hotel to the nearest sky train station Nana on the last day. I would strongly recommend the hotel to all travellers to BKK. Just one advice - book online than on the spot since online booking is nearly 400 bahts cheaper.

I booked this room for me and my family in order to attend to some business in the Nana area, Vic and Jennie made sure our stay was excellent. The rooms are very clean and well kept with large smart tv’s and great wifi. 3 elevators make getting up and down from your room very easy. The location is unbeatable if you will be in the Nana area and it’s so close to the BTS that you can get to anywhere you need with ease. Definitely recommend and will stay again, Thanks Grand 5! Requested a non-smoking room. Given 1306, aka 306. All the third floor is non-smoking I was informed. Problem is the smoke from other floors is circulated through the air conditioning. The corridor is okay. But as soon as you open your room door, it hits you hard. Our clothes reeked. You could smell it on the bedding every morning.
What did they do when I complained (several times)? A few squirts of some air freshener to mask the smell for a few minutes.
At breakfast, don’t expect much. They are trying to appeal to Arabic travellers as well as Indian vegetarians. Love your bacon, pork sausages and small goods? You are out of luck at this joint. The Korean kimchi they served up each day? Hope it has a long shelf life.the severe look I got from the lady who seemed in charge, when I loaded up a large plate with fruit, was off putting. Love your Thai food in Thailand? Better get breakfast elsewhere.
In room printed guides / material is in Arabic and English. Better not be a Thai staying in this room.
No swimming pool.
At this price point I’d be looking elsewhere.

The sheets had hair , multiple hair. I informed the Indian manager at the front desk (the bald head guy) at 1 pm after I checked in , and it was not changed until 5:30 pm.. the room was dusty, very very disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Please don’t be fooled by the online rates, if you don’t book online, that will charge you more. I really can’t believe they gave me a room which the bed was already used.. so disappointing, the manager at the desk was so cool on hearing it even after I showed him the video. I will never stay there again.. !!! SHAME ON YOU!! At least change the sheets !!!!!!

Excellent service and facilities highly recommended to stay in Bangkok. Rooms are extremely spacious and bright and cleanliness is impeccable.The attached grocery store holds everything the one needs including a 24 hour cafe. No need to leave the hotel for Thai massages Grand 5 offers the best massage parlour and salon.All in all a wonderful experience thank you.

The grand deluxe rooms are large with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms and a sitting area. The lobby is a floor above a small mall and the rooms are on a higher floor with sound proof windows overlooking the street. If there was one annoyance during our stay it was the sound of a vacuum cleaner in the corridor and a vacant room at 1 am which is an odd time for housekeeping!

I think it is. Though the guests I had sat in the lobby itself. The lower portion of the hotel is a mall, so I guess its okay to have guests. I didn't like the Grand 5 hotel that much overall though.
I did not see any cafeteria or restaurant provide breakfast. But you need not worry because the lobby area have Starbucks, MacDonald and Foodland, supermarket. That area have lots of Arabic food. The Pakistan Embassy is nearby.
