When we came to check in, the receptionist told us we had to wait, because he wanted to finish his dinner first. When we check out, the reception was empty. We walked around the hotel, but couldnt find anyone. We left the key in the reception desk, but didnt get our deposit back. We complained to Agoda, and the hotel...

I stayed one night in this hotel, because my originally booked place (Lee Travel Inn) was closed when I arrived despite I pre-announced my late arrival, that's another story. Then I had to find a place with an open reception nearby, which happened to be the boss place. When I came in, I asekd the guy for help because my...

The hotel is closed to MRT Khlongtoei, 10 minutes by walking. A street to the hotel is quiet and peaceful, there are small shopping store (7-11), local restaurants, street food located nearby the hotel. Room is big enough and have adequate fundamental amenities. Staffs and housekeepers are nice and friendly. There is no elevator in the hotel if you get...

There are a lot of foreigners that stay here and they have a lot of problems with communication with staff, It is an okay place some rooms better than others mine happens to be a good one. I am still here in February and...

im dismayed to read comments like "the staff dont speak english" and "bathroom to small" its Bangkok not Boston, so grow up and enjoy yourself... ive stayed here many times and have always found the staff friendly and helpful... Perhaps those that knock the place should read the book "Rats, Bats And Strange Toilets, before they leave their overrated homeland....!

Please save your money and time and do NOT stay at this hotel. After a long flight from San Diego, CA my girlfriend and I were excited to get to the hotel and relax a little before venturing out in Bangkok. When we checked in the hotel the woman behind the desk spoke no English. She was fighting us on...

Booked and stayed at this 'boutique-hotel' late last year. The stay was ruined by a member of staff who frequently 'entertained' his short-time boyfriends in the vacant rooms, which is ok, but there were frequent late night altercations between them with shouting, screaming and fighting right outside my door. Very disturbing and more then a little frightening. I complained to...

Stayed here, for 10 nights, room was broken into (I suspect staff were responsible), camera, money and passport stolen. When I confronted staff (ie, security door and key access to my room), they alleged I assaulted another member of staff (who I never met). Police were called, and I was told I would be arrested for the (non) assault unless...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
