We stayed in the room at the 1st floor. It was clean and bright. The location is quite convenient for traveler. I was also surprised that it was not noisy at night while lots of people were still crazy outside.
We stayed here for one night in January 2015. Hotel is in a great location - on Khao San road.
Rooms were clean albeit very small. Our room was a bit noisy with fans from outside but not a huge problem....music in Khao San actually...More
The hotel was in a great location, directly on Khao San Road in the heart of all the night life. We could get anywhere we liked within walking distance or a short tuk tuk ride. The staff were friendly, the room reasonably comfortable and...More
The room was clean. I wasn't there much. The pictures of the pool do not represent what it actually looks like but it was still a nice area to relax. Most of the staff was very nice but there was a man at the front...More
If you are looking for clean accommodation, nice decor, friendly staff and a central location then this is the place for you. Thanon Khao San can be quite noisy, but it does go quiet around midnight now

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

When this happens to us we usually book that night at the hotel that you fly in even though you won't be there til say 230 in the morning, it'll be fine to check in when you get there, someone will be in the night shift. It's nice to go and have a bit of a sleep when you get in that late. Traffic won't be too bad that time of night so I'd say if you fly in by 1230 you would be at the hotel by 230am,possibly 2am if the airport is not too busy. Go downstairs at the airport and get a taxi, you take a ticket from a machine and go to that number marked in the taxi parking area and ask for Khao San Rd and Rikka Inn, tell them it's the burger king end if they don't know the hotel, you'll see the sign up high on the building.
