This hotel is in a brilliant location, less than 5 minutes to walk to sky train and metro stations! The area is also quiet at night, located in a smaller street a few minutes off a busy road. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants to eat, as well as lots of street food! Staff spoke good English, were friendly and...

I have been to Bangkok a couple of times and I previously stayed in another hotel in Saladaeng. However, since I was travelling with another 2 friends, it was harder to find a hotel for trio in that area with reasonable price. A friend of mine recommended this place. The Inn Saladaeng is situated at a small alley right from...

Pretty standard for a mid-range hotel in SE Asia – small, clean, air conditioned rooms. This hotel gains a star for its location – in a great area for street food – but loses one for staff that were a little less helpful than at other places we stayed (though they were still friendly).

I've been to Bangkok so many times, usually 2/3 times a year for some shopping and then flying to other locations with Air Asia. I have been to various Luxury and 4 star hotels from Sofitel to Pullman, Tawana, Ambassador, Grand Sukhumvit and so on. I only chose this one for nightlife/shopping compromise and because we were a party of...

We stayed here for one night while transiting through Bangkok. The location is very good, for us that means close to public transport and lots of good street food. The room itself was OK, we took a family room because that was all they had left - so there was a third bed which took up a lot of space,...

This is one of those cheap small so called boutique hotels along Saladaeng.Lobby is tiny and cluttered with furniture and a small checkin counter. But being a small hotel the staff are very relaxed and friendly.A few snacks and a coffee/water machine is available just near the lift 24hrs free which the large hotels do not offer. And the whole hotel had...

Just stayed at the Inn Saladaeng for a few nights. Cute hotel, good location, very close to BTS and mall and patpong night market. Room is pretty small but we were fine with it. Staff is super friendly and helpful as well. We checked out at noon and they held onto all of our luggage for 6 hours at no...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights at then end of our Thailand trip. We took the train from the airport and I am unsure why some people had trouble finding it. We had a map of the street and found it with no problems. Getting there from the airport took about 45 mins to 1 hour. We...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
