I've spent three days in September 2010 in this hotel. The room was not too large (spacious anyway), but comfortable, wide bathroom. I've espacially liked the friendliness of the hotel staff.
Breakfast was not excellent, considering the Thai standards but not too bad, anyway. The...More
My room and bathroom were small and modern. Furnishings, towels, TV, etc., were very new and the place is kept exceptionally clean. Because the rooms are small, I wouldn't recommend Mayfair to extremely long-term guests, or those who want lots of room to stretch. For...More
I was attacted to the hotel by an amazing rate that was only available from the hotels website (1350 Bht). This was low for this area of Bangkok, but also the location near the new CityLink train station and the cleanliness shown in the photos...More

at the airport go the normal taxi counter... the metered taxi not the luxury who will try to fish you near the exits. At the counter you give the name of the hotel. you will be given a number. the ladies will be more fluent in english and the taxi drivers will queue up to get their destinations; The ladies will write the hotel name on a card written in thai and english plus the amount that you will pay to the driver. Insist that the driver drop you inside the alley in front of the hotel not on the main road where you will have to walk 200 mts with your luggage on a busy small alley. The hotel is at the near end inside the alley.
