This hotel is a small hotel which has been converted from old shop building. It's basically 3-star hotel so the facilities cannot be compared to proper 4 or 5 stars hotels. But it's quite adequate for single traveler or couples who wants to explore the nearby area. It's locate in between Chinatown and Royal Palace (walking distance). It's also locate next to one of the MRT station (Sam Yot) so it's also easy to connect to other area and other MRT or BTS stations. One thing to note though is that the place doesn't have elevators and the topmost floor 4th level (family room) so consider this if you have heavy baggage.
It is a nice building, lovely art inside. There is security at all times (though he sometimes sleeps). They let me park my scooter outside, but I was always worried it would be towed as it isn't really a designated place and I wasn't allowed to keep my scooter there during the daytime. There isn't an elevator, so if you bring a lot of luggage, it can be a little inconvenient. The eating area / rooftop is cool, but it is open air and can get a little warm. My room looked nice, bed was comfy. I liked my room except that the air conditioner didn't really cool the room, then by morning (every morning), it leaked all over my dresser. I complained every morning and no one fixed it, the housekeepers would just go up and clean up the mess. I lost a lot of snacks to this before realizing this was going to be an issue. …
Comfortable and clean place in Bangkok, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel in Bangkok Friendly staff, very affordable hotel. Nice location close to Chinatown and in front of the subway but noisy, a lot of traffic in the street
Pretty neat in middle of downtown, but rooms next to street very noisy maybe need some noise protection to windows and void. While i stay there wish coffee shop downstair would be open for us, but it’s fine. Traveling is pretty comfortable thanks to MRT. Overall is worth it !
Very simple but fitting room. Worth the money. Excellent coffee shop and safe. Easily worth 20 times as much in say London or NYC. Very happy to recommend and I’ve been all over the world. It was clean, comfortable and very well connected metro is twenty feet away.
Amazing doorman who welcomed us very early in the morning. Amazing receptionists who looked after us as if we were staying in a 5 star hotel. This hotel was brilliantly placed for us with the metro across the road and several tourist sites and shops nearby. We took a punt booking this place but this place exceeded our expectations. The room was pristine and the bed very comfortable.
Good and heritage area, comfortable to stay.Nice place nearly Chaina town where the oldest area in Thailand .Excellent for walking around in evenings where you can find a local stree food so verioun kinds.
First I went wrong , bcz.the website I used switchd to this second place from same owner .So when i was on Cacha Hotel I get wrong .Due of the massive morning traffic jam I decide to walk to Cacha bed .A very impressive walk , also along the mountain temple w.the water build sculpture and the park . Nevertheless I arrived well , check in wonderful , i like this industrie design . Beware : there is no elevator to upper floors .I booked the room without window , well good for the payment . A little minus = not any hoob in the room , and only rainshower head ( room 27 ). The relaxing room on 4.floor is well good if closed the door and used A/C . Unfortunately to seat on outdoor is very noisy due if corner w.much traffic .Hualamphu is not that far . A big plus on rooms w.bunk bed style : windows are well good to prevent noise , and I love this spot light for reading .The best i see in my traveling. Also good : about the history showing of this building .In this he did good work Cafe Shop good too …
More a hotel than hostel. I had a double room and it was great. Very trendy and chic small boutique property in old Bangkok. Great renovation of a grand old building of old Bangkok era. Can't say enough about staff - new generation and very friendly and helpful.
Great Price. Great Location. We chose Cacha Bed because it was in China Town (for the street food market) and close to the Grand Palace. There is a GREAT coffee shop on he main floor of this place that mak s great lattes for 70 baht. The beds were typical for Thailand and the room was clean. We were in a private room which was great. Laundry machines on site. Front desk staff were helpful and polite. No issues at all. I will be staying again as we pass back through Bangkok.
