We stayed for two nights and the hotel rooms are very old fashioned but okay for the cheap price. We requested an extra bed and called the hotel several times to get no answer which was Abbas frustrating so our third friend booked another hotel. Upon arrival, there was an extra bed in our room which none got back to...

Bad smell on the entrance, elevator do not work-we got the 6th floor, on first look you can see it is brothel. Bugs in the room (!!!), and when we decided to go out it was not possible to lock the doors! We just checked out after 30 min. I could not understand who gave more than 1 star to...

Stayed here for 4 days.Had booked a double bed. On arrival I was told for the first night only a twin room was available and that I would be moved the following day. This never happened and when I asked why they just shrugged shoulders. When I asked for help getting to Bus station reception say they didn't know where...

We stayed in this hotel if it could be called that as we had booked our dates wrong in a hotel around the corner and regretted every single moment . The bin had discarded and used condoms inside. The sheets had hair and fecal stains on them . We informed management and we were given an alternative room. We thought...

I've never stayed in a filthier hovel (and I lived in Thailand for 6 years). The room was dirty, poorly maintained, had old peeling wallpaper, and stank of cigarette smoke (the butts were left on the window sill outside). The bed was hard as concrete, with an unwashed blanket and a stained sheet. The headboard, which was originally a cream...

The hotel has probably seen its best years but the venue is on silom road(soi 22,well 2 small sois before it) about 1km from BTS Chong Nonsi. Rooms are clean and big enough for sleep and shower. Our bathroom could use a new tub but the shower was perfectly working. Staff is very friendly. Possibilities to eat and have a...

We stayed there 2 nights. Got there with an open mind having read other reviews. The establishment is just a few steps (50m) from the busy Silom road. Which in an way brings tranquility or quietness in a hectic downtown Bangkok. Our room on the 6th floor, certainly did not have any nice views. One overlooked a dilapidated roof next...

Keep your sense of humour and you will enjoy your stay. Location is good, quiet lane just near main road. Good bed. Room pretty good though hot water did not work and safe was locked shut, both were brought to the attention of reception but nothing done about it. Check in went smoothly. When we turned up for breakfast we...

We made a booking for three nights through Booking.com and when we arrived at the hotel it was overbooked. Ok I understand this is sad and normal but the reaction for that in reception was "I don't care". She also said it's not unusual. Please avoid this hotel. If you want to book even though, confirm your booking.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
