Decent enough little place, friendly staff. Some basic things missing like somewhere to put your clothes that are not meant for hangers. With everything being so bare and industrial there is ZERO sound insulation. We had a few nights of pretty disturbed sleep. the street...More

Located in Sukhumvit soi 36, just 5-8mins walk from Thong Lo BTS station, Ir-on hotel is relatively a convenient place to stay in Bangkok. Especially if you are a person who likes cafes, restaurants or bars. Thonglor and Ekkamai are the places to be.

Booked this hotel about a month before my visit & the place looked aesthetically pleasing especially spewing with the industrial, marble & greens as the decor. Like the rest of other reviews, I definitely believe this hotel has the room to better and improve.

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
