We liked the hotel itself very much. For being near such a busy area, it was rather quiet. The bed was comfortable, everything in the room worked, and we liked the convenient location. I would have given five stars if it weren't for the concierge downstairs. We asked for a taxi to the airport and it was a fixed rate which was 3 times the typical metered rate. If you need transport, use grab or hail one on the street so you don't get screwed.
Stayed here for 4 days the food was amazing staff very friendly and the rooms are very clean there’s also nice little restaurant facing the hotel what we went to a couple of times. There also a shopping centre about a ten minute walk so not to far from everything that’s going on.
I booked this hotel for my vacation, the serviced of hotel is very very nice. it's impossible not to talk about GM of hotel Mr. Taii who is so enthusiastic. I want to thanks for your Reservation Team, you are good staff. I will choose your hotel for the next vacation See all of you in the next time
Hotel staff is friendly and polite, maintenance is efficient and the concierge name lucky is very helpful and always serve with a great smile and also recommended alot of nice places to visit in bkk. Would love to stay again
Stayed 4 nights from 7th to 11th Feb at room 420. No problems checking in and out. Hotel's location is walking distance to Sutthisan BTS. Staffs and chambermaid were friendly and provide excellent service throughout my stay. There's a cafe on the ground floor where i had my morning coffee daily with indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor seating (smoking available). 7-11 and Family mart just right at the doorsteps of our hotel. Macdonalds is about 5 mins walking distance away. Location wise is very good with so many malls and food / night market nearby. Easy to get Taxi / motorcycle . Clean rooms with comfortable pillows and bed , with safe in room and also they provide slippers to use within the hotel vicinity. Would definitely be back here for songkran 2020.
During our stay in Dream Bangkok Hotel last December, we found the staff in general had outstanding performances. Among them Mr Kornphat Soriraya, the Chief Concierge was the most impressive. He always gave us useful information upon our arrival at the hotel. He is sincere and friendly and devoted in his job. He always provides us a better room whenever we request. He has a good relationship with his colleagues. Another staff, Nuch ,a lady working in the coffee shop. She always wears a smile on her face and entertain us as if her brothers. She is hardworking and nice. She always greets us with friendly smiles. Her voice is sweet. Both of them are the most valuable staff in Dream Hotel.
I actually quite like the style of this hotel IF they keep the room standardized clean. there was blood mark on the bed, the first three photos was the first room we had when we arrived, sooner they switch us to another twin bed room(last two photos), my husband and I had to sleep in separated beds, and the bed was still not clean ., has dirty mark, From the beginning to the end, no even an apology from hotel and it was the midnight. Reception guy is very hard to communicate with, I feel we don't speak the same English. hotel's cool but cleanness is always our top priority, not recommended. I checked in just past midnight after flying from the USA. 26 hours later, I'd arrived. The clerk asked for my passport and credit card which I surrendered. Seemed pretty standard procedure. Then I was informed that there was a 1000 baht deposit required. No problem, I thought and said. Here you are, put it on my card. I'm tired, I thought. Anything to get to rest at last. But oh, no sir, the deposit is cash only. It cannot be a charge for your credit card. Well, this is awkward but, well, okay. Now can I rest? Check out day arrives and I request my deposit be refunded. Again, another surprise. Oh, no sir. Your deposit will refund in 7-10 days to your credit card. Ummm, okay, I guess. Again, a bit odd but the hotel seemed legitimate. And I have a receipt. So I left. Needless to say I never did receive my deposit back. I was told that the hotel only does a temporary hold on my credit line and never charges cash if the pre-authorization is accepted. Anyway, long story short, they kept my cash deposit and after spending so much time and effort with my time here growing ever shorter, this trip, I just wanted you to be aware of my experience with Stay Hotel BKK. I subsequently stayed in 6 other hotels throughout Thailand and was requested to pay a cash deposit at each. None of them issued a receipt, which Stay Hotel did but each of the other hotels refunded all of my deposited funds whereas Stay Hotel did not. They say that although my receipt states that 1000 THB was the amount shown without my signature as authorization, it was merely a temporary hold. The 1000 THB cash was never paid by me they say. The hotel looks great, the staff is nice but they took 1000 THB of mine through dubious means. It's not worth the effort to fight so hard for $30. But I certainly won't stay with Stay Hotel again, ever. I hope that you won't either but if you do, you've been warned.…
Stayed here previously and enjoyed requested same room as before, on checkout had to take my own baggage down as my 2 requests for assistance were unanswered , shocked at this level to have to take my own baggage down, to my awaiting car.
I stayed here just over a year ago with my boyfriend, and when we were coming back to Bangkok for a week, I was excited to stay here again. Sadly I think staff have changed. Previously we were greeted and welcomed kindly and genuinely, this time it felt very fake, forced and almost as though we as guests were an inconvenience. However, that wasn’t the part that bothered me most. Whilst staying in the room, I hadn’t realised before how thin the walls must be. Most nights I could hear the neighbours on either side, which brought through some rather unfortunate *ahem* noises as you can imagine. The only staff member I can commend is the security/bell boy with the unique eye. He remembered us from our previous trip and was gracious, helpful and friendly as we remembered before. On our leaving however, we were taking a taxi to the airport, and a different security/bell boy offered to book us a taxi. Due to the amount of luggage we had he was pressuring us to take a larger more expensive cab, however we wanted (and were sure) a normal cab would suffice. We asked a taxi driver outside the hotel if it was possible to fit our luggage in, and he didn’t even bat an eyelid - straight to loading the car with ease. This however seemed to anger the hotel staff member, and then led him to be careless and drop my luggage (of which contained my expensive equipment). Even the taxi driver was surprised at his temperament and attitude. Throughout the stay, there were just numerous little niggles or things that had dropped in standard from before. The biggest thing was the lack of genuine care from the staff. The last moment of leaving the hotel with the staff member becoming annoyed and angry was the final addition. And sadly won’t be booking here again. If the manager reads these reviews - I recommend checking your staff. Make sure they are genuinely caring, interested in their customers! A real smile (not forced!) can go a long way. …
