Very large, clean and quiet room with helpful staff. Little sofa with TV, large shower and big fridge in a separate kitchen. The only thing that we have to complain is the smell of cold tobacco and the old furniture. Be careful, the hotel is not so easy to find and you have to walk 10 min in some small...

The demo photos on Agoda are very great, it seemed to be a clean, nice and well furnishing hotel, most importantly it is cheap! However, it is a nightmare to stay here, and I even cannot tolerate a night. Finally I just spent few hours here, after having a bath, I moved to another hotel though I had made a...

I was moved to this hotel after The Heritage Bangkok made a mistake with my booking, at first I was a little dissapointed because of the location, as The Heritage was surrounding lots of markets and the train station, but once I got over that, I enjoyed my stay here and extended it. The people who work there are really...

Contrary to many review which stated that this hotel is very hard to find, i found it located near to many landmarks such as the Saint Louis Hospital and Surasak BTS station and Assumption College-among others. It's not deserted or hidden as well and the main road is just 5 minutes walking distance where you can flag the taxi to anywhere...

I visited Bangkok on June 2011. This hotel located in hidden area, for first time visited it's not easy to find. You can walk about 10-15 ten minutes from the train Station, to reach all over Bangkok. But this was a nice hotel but large room, and pleasant personality from the receptionist. Good price also. Breakfast is so fresh with...

Stayed there last weekend, actually my second visit. For 700 baht a night through agoda it's a bargain. Staff are friendly, rooms are of a good standard & clean. Shuttle bus to BTS surasak is very handy

Convenient location, decent rooms but pictures look better on their web site. Paid for the room with a balcony but they said they did not have any available. Requested an early check-in and asked for another 1000b for that. Given the price still not a bad deal but there are other hotels all around the area for the same price....

Not really a 'Boutiquestyle hotel' and the hotels web site shows a roof top swimming pool which is did not have. Pretty basic and back alley hotel. Shower was OK and hot water though the bathroom needed some attention as damp had set into some areas making the paint bubble and split. Did not try the breakfast as my Thai...

1) The picture on this page showing the really nice room is definitely not my experience! 2) The room was very dark and dingy and the shower just pathetic! (a trickle!) 3) ants (need I say more?) 4) The breakfast was questionable. For the 7 days I was there I came away hungry every morning. You get 1 slice of...

What is advertised as a 'Boutiquestyle hotel' definitely isn't. Pretty basic and back alley hotel. Crappy shower (jump back and forth to get some water..)Do avoid the rats out in the street when you walk at night in the street (during the day there is a market and they dump their left overs in the street). Fairly cheap but wouldn't...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
