Great service on walk in, given an upgraded room ..really friendly helpful staff....comfortable good size rooms and great value for money. Located within walking distance of the famous Khao San, kings palace and temples this is the perfect location. It's all at your door :)

Rented a room with shared bathroom. The room was fairly clean. No bugs. The overall place looked a bit shabby. Toilet paper not readily available. Friendly staff. Good location. If you are looking for a cheap place to sleep, this is the place to stay....More

Hi Annapurna, This wont be a problem. The restaruant and bar at Sawasdee House are open until 3 or 4am anyway, and there is always someone at reception. There will be loads of staff around :)

I agree have the hotel written in thai down for them if you want to be super safe. Tourism is so big now there that they will most likely know. Even if you just get a taxi to khao san road you till find it in a few minutes :)
