Pros: The staff were nice and the hostel was clean and attractive. Cons: The AC wasn't very strong. There are no western outlets or USB outlets so charging my phone was impossible. The water pressure is low. The hostel is in a quiet alley, but I had a very scary experience with a stray dog when I was travelling alone.... More

Stayed at the Udee for three nights in a private double room. Had previously stayed in the Udee while backpacking a few years ago. Positive experience in the private room and dorm. Many pros, including: Clean Unique local location without a lot of tourists Close to good street food Helpful hosts with Thai directions available for taxi rides and a... More

It was located inside a not so narrow and quiet alley, we were a bit worried. Then we found the gate door, enter the receptionist. Very japanese style. Then we entered the room. We booked the dorm room, located at the 3rd floor, and were quite amazed with EVERYTHING! The room was super clean, with aircon, wifi, clean sheet, minimalism... More

I booked one night to wake up early for my flight from Don Mueng Airport in Bangkok. I stayed in one of their dorm rooms, and was utterly shocked with how clean and comfortable it was. With air conditioning included and for the price I paid, I have to say that the hostel was excellent value. If you are looking... More

Love this hostel so much, was beautiful design and had an indoor outdoor feel. So you never felt like you were closed into four walls. Lovely staff, great location for travel links. Perfection. And free breakfast. Great roof terrace too !!!

The room was very clean and very basic, however, it was very very hot. We were on the third floor, I guess it has something to do with where our room is located. We did not spend time in the room during the day but when we came back, the first thing we felt when opened the door was the... More

Udee is a hidden jewel. Not very easy to locate, yet actually very near to common area. The hostel design was the first thing that made me fell in love. It's got a old chinese feel yet the interior was semi-industrial minimalist. I work in art and design so pardon the excitement for design :") The gate was a red-painted... More

Really enjoyed our stay at Udee hostel. Great modern and open building in a local area. Cheap beer which you can enjoy on the rooftop. Local food markets around the corner and within 20 minutes train ride you are in the middle of the city. Very friendly and helpful owners!

If you prefer not to stay in the backpacker madness of Khao San, Udee is a great place to stay in Bangkok. The rooms and facilities are new, clean and stylish and there is also a daily room service. Towels and a daily bottle of water included. Wifi is on the rooms and fast. The staff is very helpful and... More

Staff here are so friendly and helpful, I left my dslr camera in Koh lanta and the hotel there posted it out for me and Udee staff went to the post office and collected it for me because it didn't have the full address of the hostel on so got taken there instead. The rooms are clean and there's a... More
