A small clean hotel close to the Australian Embassy and other Embassies close to good eating restaurants and shops. Placed in a very quiet street next to a hospital and a private school within easy walking distance to public transport and shopping. Small but adequate room with nice shower facilities and a bidet type toilet, an experience for those not...

Very nice little hotel here with friendly helpful staff. Great little eateries and street food in the area too. I chose it because close to Australian embassy and was perfect, but it's also a short walk to Patpong street markets and BTS Note: Short cut to Silom station- exit hotel onto street you can turn left or go straight but...

We stayed at the hotel for one night. Pros: The rooms are spacy and relatively priced. Staff is very friendly. The hotel is centrally located so all major attractions are easily accessible. Cons: Slightly more options in the breakfast.

Me and my girlfriend stayed there on our last night in Bangkok before flying back home to Canada. In our 2 weeks journey in Thailand, this is the only hotel that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The room was OK but it wasn't super clean. The bed sheet was dirty and the AC took forever to cool the room. I...

I booked the hotel from latestay.com for a discounted price for 4 nights. Having a friend with me when we checked in and there was one staff at reception and he is not informative about facilities and rushing us into the room. I think he is not Thai either. The room was very disappointed for superior. We asking for upgrade...

The room was very comfortable and welcoming. The interior design is colourful, stylish and well carried out. Both the room and bathroom are spacious, and the TV features some satellite channels (the selection in English is not great, though). On the downside, the hotel can be difficult to find the first time, and it will take you a good 10...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
