The staff were friendly and the hostel was very clean. I enjoyed the decorations. However, the hostel is actually two separate buildings. There is a main building with the reception and cafe, and another building across the street in an alley. I actually preferred that, but I would have liked to know because it made me uneasy checking in late... More

Very friendly staff. The location was very good near khao san, and several important places for visiting like Royal Palace, wat pho, golden mountain. The rooms and toilets are very clean with air-con.

I am travelling in Asia for two months, and I have been to many hostels, but I found in Niras a real family. I definitely loved this place and I definitely recommand to go there. I stayed there for 4 nights to wait for the Myanmar's visa to be done. About the room and the accomodation in general, it's really... More

It's a calm and chilling hostel. The decorations are characteristic. Once you step inside the café, with the atmosphere created by the music played and the peculiar objects all around, is really like jumping in the past. Everything is vintage. The best part, the lovely library corner, with even an old thai typewriter. They defined themselves as a cultural hostel,... More

Although I can't say that I enjoyed Bangkok, I did have a very pleasant stay at Niras. The cafe is adorable, the staff is incredibly helpful and so very friendly. Certainly one of the cleanest hostels I've been in. It was the perfect refuge from Bangkok and all it's noise.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and very clean. Bed was pretty comfortable. Chilling in the cafe is a good way to escape the hustle and bustle of bangkok (you can forget where you are until you step outside) and food was good, if a tad expensive. Good location - khao san road, chinatown,... More

3 of us stayed in a 4 bed dorm with shared bathroom facilities. We stayed in the newer building and it was spacious, clean and secure. Only about a 10-15min walk to Khao San Road, and walkable to Grand Palace area etc. Staff are excellent- welcoming and friendly. We enquired about some tours we had seen advertised, but staff advised... More

We were four friends in a dorm of four with common bathroom. The room and the common areas were extra clean, the beds comfortable. The room at the lobby is beautiful and the café quite good. On top of that the hotel is really well located. Highly recommended

Clean and big double badroom with aircon, no own bathroom but thats ok. The bathrooms are very very clean and the staff is helpfull. The Khaosan Road is 10 minutes away so its not that loud and if you have a couple of beers to much than it is not that long to walk ;D
