Clean and up to date hostel and is a great place to meet new people to explore the city with or go out at night. It's located close to Khao San road which is a road full of activities and night life. yes.

This place is brilliant. 22 room dorm is quiet and clean and not what you'd expect at all. Everyone respects eachothers privacy and downtime. The communal area downstairs is great for meeting people and everybody is so friendly. The location is 2min walk from khaosan but in a quiet location where you can relax with really friendly people when you...

Over 692 people have reviewed this hostel, 18 of which have really complained about it. During the months I came and went from this place I learnt that the only people that complained about this place were individuals that weren't actually staying at the hostel and got turfed out when they were drunk. My girlfriend and I have travelled a...

The staff is very rude and offensive. The big lady with the tattoos did nothing with a smile and does not look at you when she speaks to you. During my stay here, they told many people to leave without a reason. Do not go here, there are better and friendlier hostels in the city!

I had never traveled solo before, and I was scared as I had just arrived in bangkok (7am) and had booked to stay here. I arrived and within 5 minutes I was already speaking to people in the common area in reception. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere however they have a no shoes policy inside and they are strict with...

Awesome little hostel around Khao San Road area in the hustle and bustle of everything. Great hostel for solo travellers looking to meet people, everyone is so friendly and wants to chat. We were a couple and felt very welcomed!! Very clean, lovely dorms with rucksack size lockers. Not the quietest, most people go out and get smashed each evening...

Not much to say here. Good: clean beds and dorms. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff who speak great English. They helped organize an airport taxi at a good rate. Taxi was perfectly punctual as well. Good wifi, solid signal and decent speed. Bathrooms clean and in good working order. Firm beds. Power outlets and small lamps in your bunk. Larger lockers...

I've stayed in the hostel for 3 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. The common area is really nice, with lots of people chillin' at any given time. It's air-conditioned and clean. The staff is also courteous and helpful, and engage with the guests in the party activities. The room i stayed in was alright, but there was...

Nappark is the very first hostel I stayed at when I first came travelling 4 years ago. I had such an amazing time there then that I thought I had to check the place out again when I was passing through Bangkok again. I wasn't disappointed, the hostel is such a great place for meeting other travellers and swapping stories....

If you're a young traveller looking for affordable accommodation with a super sociable vibe this is the place to go. We can't fault it. Beds are comfortable and clean - they can be made private, you have a plug, a light and a locker. The staff are helpful and very chilled. There's a really nice sociable area with films playing,...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
