For a backpacker budget, this is slightly more expensive at around £6/7 per night but you really do get your money's worth. The rooms are super clean and beds are very comfy. Each bed has 2 plugs next to it, a light and a mirror! The lockers are proper big ones so you don't need to just store your valuables...

I stayed with them for like 1 day and a half. A nite in Female dorm, half day in mixed dorm. Their theme color is white so everything looks clean and the place is actually clean. Love the paintings in the restrooms. I like my stay in female dorms but it's on the top floor (no elevator). My plan was...

One of the best hostels I stayed in whilst in Thailand for three weeks. The general quality for the rooms and common area was very high, with the common area perfect to meet new people and pre drink before going out. If not for you, you can chill and watch a movie instead. The bathroom is clean and has all...

I had an incredible time at Nap Park. It was the very start of my solo section of my trip and absolutely perfect for meeting people and making friends. I met people I am still in touch with, including my favourite Thai person I met on my trip - View, the night receptionist. She was amazing at making me feel...

This hostel is in a great location just off Khao San Road. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for accommodation in Bangkok on a budget :)

My first stop in Thailand was at Nappark after reading incredible reviews about it and I didn't make a bad choice - this was such a sociable hostel and I met some incredible people, most of which I met again later on in my journeys and am hoping to stay in contact with. The hostel staff were helpful and friendly...

First off with the good, the location is right near Khao San Road. Beds were clean and comfy. Good lockers and clean bathrooms. And the not so good, it's near Khao San road. The staff were helpful, but they weren't exactly the most welcoming or quick to offer free additional info. There is no kitchen (at least I was never...

This is my first hostel experience and I loved it! Hidden in the midst of Khao San road is this cozy little place which is clean, safe and a great place to make friends. The highlight of this place is the lobby, it is the easiest place to meet new people and the head off to wherever you want. Would...

The location is awesome and the staff is very helpful. The dorms and bathrooms are very clean. You get a big locker to store your things in. My friend and I had to share a bed the first night and that was no problem at all (just giving you an idea of the size). All in all a very nice...

Located in "backpacker heaven" near Khao San NapPark is ideally placed if you want to see central Bangkok. The hostel has a spacious relaxing lounge where you can meet like minded backpackers and share stories and meet new friends. NapPark also offers a variety of tours in the Bangkok area along with various cookibg classes.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
