Hansar is a perfect retreat amongst the chaos of Bangkok. The oversized suites with luxurious wood decor are very comfortable and convey a quiet zen atmosphere. I was always glad to come home to it to rest. I stayed in the Urban Suite, which was a great layout with a separate bedroom and a very large bathroom. As some have said, some parts of the suite are showing some wear and tear with age, but everything is immaculately cleaned and the service is excellent. The pool is wonderful. The breakfast was not amazing but perfectly fine for an included benefit. I had room service a few times and it was very good and reasonably priced. I would certainly stay here again.

The hotel was cozy and comfortable. The hotel room was clean but the pillows were too soft. The breakfast was very nice too and the thai food at Elefin was very good.The staff were great and very helpful especially Mr Tae and Mr Alex. I am very grateful to Mr Tae for helping me to find back my bucket hat left in the taxi and Mr Akex for delivering the bucket hat to my room. Not forgetting the great massage before our departure. I will definitely return to Hansar for my next trip. Good job Hansar !

The most underrated hotel in Bangkok for the money. It’s rooms are well appointed, huge, the bed comfy, breakfast bar is amazing and service is second to none! Teo at the concierge desk was fantastic in fact all staff went out of their way to ensure you had everything you needed and more. I cannot rate this highly enough!

Great Hotel, located in a very quiet area and close to the sky train. Walking distance to shopping area. The rooms are very specious. Outstanding infinity pool. A very big thanks to the concierge Tae, very helpful with reservations, organizing taxis and planing day trips. People like Tae make the difference and make you feel welcome. being a 13th timer at the hansar on samui, a 4th timer at the hansar in bangkok, we know, hansar stands for quality. this time i was a solo traveller. the holiday already starts at the pickup at the airport, no stress, no pushing, shoving for taxis with hundreds of frustrated incomers. the concierges, my favorite staff, see below, brighten your day upon arrival, friendly welcome by the reception team upstairs. rooms are high standard, had, solotraveller, an urban suite (71sqm) this time. special thanks to concierge tae who helped me organize seeing bangkok off the beaten track. the elefin cafe downstairs is a gem, they provide tasty, authentic food, i am a regular there. all in all, not to forget the location, a top recommendation in bangkok. PS: provided you are leaving thailand and you don't need your prepaid tourist sim card anymore, still have gigas up there - just leave it at the concierges' desk, so they can use it, and so the card is not wasted. PSS: before you say, gush that guy gets paid for his comment: the second evening i got me one of the free signature drinks offered downstairs at the bar, i was sitting outside, the only guest at that time. i got the drink - and was neglected the following 30', wasn't asked about if i wanted a 2nd drink; left me a bit puzzled.…

The hotel shows the rate 5 star, but it’s not up to it. Anyway, our stay was reasonable, average. +: very near by Ratchamdri BTS station and room very spacious and well equipped. - :poor breakfast, deposit charged and only refunded after 2 weeks, they say. We were expecting better.

Location was behind The St Regis hotel.Situated along a small road ..walkable to BTS station as well as the huge Central World Mall. Staffs at Thai hotels are all really really friendly and Hansar is no exception.You dont get any better staffs in other countries except maybe Bali and certainly not in western countries. Reception on 2nd floor..decor all wood.Very modern feel. Room was huge.Separate bedroom,living and bathroom.Everything was clean and perfect.The bedroom design was however a bit odd.The bed…which was only a mattress was on the floor but the floor was 3 steps up.So it was a bit dangerous at night if you need to go toilet and forget that there are steps down.. Other than that..a fantastic hotel.

I stayed at Vertigo suite at the Hansar Hotel for Christmas break in Bangkok and had a really great stay. The suite was beautiful with a huge bathroom, walk in closet and a spacious living room. Bed was super comfortable as well. The pool was nice and there's also a decent gym for you to use. Breakfast was included and it was awesome every morning down at the Elefin Restaurant. Lots of delicious fresh fruit and juice, a menu to order from (all free), and a small buffet as well! I especially liked the noodle soup and omelette/eggs with sausage. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The only downside is the location is slightly tucked away, but not a super far walk from the busy area (maybe about 7 mins to Erawan shrine), central world shopping area etc.. Great experience. Staff was helpful, picked us up from airport at 1am. Very nice amenities. Breakfast was wonderful - best we’ve had in Thailand. They had fresh coconuts which id suggest drinking as many as you can especially because they are not free anywhere else.

We celebrated our anniversary and was pleasantly surprised by the effort from the hotel. Special thanks to Aoy and Gift for making our stay a memorable one. The importance of a friendly reception cannot be emphasised. We also love Hansar’s breakfast selections as most of the items were specifically made upon ordering. Meaning it’s freshly made and hot.
