As it is a relatively recent hotel, it is very stylish and beautiful from the front desk, restaurant, pool etc. to the rooms.

I stayed in the residence, and it was always well-cleaned and I felt very comfortable. When I was having trouble using the washing machine, the cleaner was more willing to teach me how to use it, and even lent me to hang.

The location is about a 5-10 minute walk to the north of Lumpini Park, and the nearest station is about a 10-15 minute walk. There are many restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood and convenience is not bad.
This area as a whole was either under development or under construction here and there.

Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety. The venue is also very stylish.
We went to the Italian on the ground floor and the bar on the top floor, and the interior and background music were really nice and delicious in both cases.

This hotel, Dog Chan, is also available to stay, and there are many Kawaii Chans in the cafe and garden on the ground floor, which is very soothing.

It's a little pricey, but I think it's a good hotel to stay in and I can make Recommendations.

We had a Fantastic experience at the Kimpton Malaai, Bangkok Thailand. The food, service and staff were some of the best in class in hotel service. The staff in EVERY area were so attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay so pleasant and relaxing. So many names and difficult to recall. However, a noteworthy mention is Ms. Paii at concierge, she was so sweet and extremely helpful with my daily rendezvous, making transport reservations, nail spa appointments, etc. Our trip culminated with our transfer experience with the help of AE and Pat who were very prompt in getting our luggage loaded into our hired taxi. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back!🙏🏽

1. Room
Due to a good offer we had a junior suite. The quotation mark “room” was in fact more of an apartment. In any case, it is by far the largest and best hotel room we have experienced so far in Bangkok. At the push of a button, the curtain opens and, like in a theatre, opens up an impressive panorama through the floor-to-ceiling glazing of the room with a view of the skyline. The large bathroom leaves nothing to be desired, Dyson hairdryer and high-quality bathroom products included. For our eight-year-old son, who by the way could easily sleep on the sofa in the bedroom, there were his own products, also a toothbrush and children's toothpaste, a children's bathrobe. As a welcome there was a fruit plate in the room etc.

2. Gym, Pool, etc.
Fully equipped gym, you can train like at home in the gym, very friendly service. The pool we liked less, is somewhat in the shade, no particular view, temperature rather too cold.

3. Gastro
The breakfast is so impressive that we simply can't think of a benchmark. At least by far the best we have ever experienced in a hotel. Highly recommended is also the coffee in the bar on the ground floor. Unfortunately, it's quite expensive here. We also used the tea time in the afternoon, here the price-performance ratio is again very good. It was a shame that the bar on the rooftop was closed during our stay.

4. General impression, other
A really great hotel with urban flair, friendly, also suitable for families. Our son was able to join a hotel game and get a free ice cream. The two downer drops we had are on the one hand the location – you need about a 15 minute walk to the more interesting neighborhoods or have to take the taxi – and the swimming pool. in any case an absolute recommendation for travelers to Bangkok.

Upon entering the small entrance, I was guided to a sofa by the front desk staff (each of whom was like a concierge) dressed casually, and checked in while enjoying a welcome drink. The lounge (the restaurant on the first floor?) that could be seen from there was also very nice, and since it was a pet-free hotel, there were some people relaxing with their large dogs. I was tired after getting stuck in a heavy traffic jam in the evening and it took almost two hours from the airport, but I was excited and revived in an instant.

The room was spacious and completely glassed. There was a small dining table and chairs, and the bathtub was also stylishly designed. I forgot what the amenities were. The hair dryer was a Dyson, and the iron and yoga mat were also in the room by default, which was helpful. The TV was in a slightly strange place (?) and I didn't have time so I never turned it on.

There were speakers and a few books in the room, so I could relax at night by listening to music in the dark.

I also looked forward to the cute buffet restaurant, which was modeled after a pantry, every day! Yogurt and fruit were displayed in jars, and noodle dishes were made on the spot, and it was also impressive that they had a wide range of food, from Thai food to halal food, such as Khao Niao Mamuang and palm juice. There were several omelettes to choose from, which you ordered at your seat. The staff were all smiling and cheerful, and very friendly.

I stayed for two nights, but I was out and about until late at night, so I regret not being able to go to the famous rooftop bar and the lounge on the first floor.

Next time, I would like to spend more time at the hotel and come back.
By the way, it was about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest Silom station. It felt far because it was hot, but I wanted to avoid the terrible traffic jams in the evening, so I walked there when I went there and took a tuk-tuk from a different hotel on the way back. (If you go to a fairly large hotel, you can definitely catch one.)

There was also a surprise when I opened the elevator and saw a large dog sitting there. They were all very smart and cute. By the way, it may have been because it wasn't a pet floor, but I never heard any cries or anything.

As far as the rooms are concerned, this is indeed the most comfortable living experience in ihg Group: the space is spacious, the bed is large and comfortable, and the sea salt bath is good for soaking. But because I only stayed for 2 nights, I chose the nearby Indian Michelin restaurant experience instead of the wellness & spa experience, which was a pity.

Because it is easy to live in, the public areas have a high density of people, such as the swimming pool, craft or lobby on the first floor. One night I wanted to go to the bar on the 40th floor, but because there were too many young people (including non-residents) having fun, the volume Exploding the table, pretending to give up.

The steak at the restaurant Stock.room is delicious, the curry fried crab is also a highlight, and the charcoal grilled seafood is fresh, but the restaurant is not popular. On the other hand, the breakfast at the same place has been crowded since 0600, and the menu is quite rich. You can also enjoy shrimp cakes, beet juice, mango rice...soup noodles, donuts, coconut water...etc.

There is a shuttle bus every hour to Green Line bts Chit Lom Station/Mercury Ville, but you need to make a reservation 1 hour in advance. You can take it freely on the return trip, which is also convenient.

As soon as I entered, a staff member named Aood helped me check in. He was friendly and made me feel good. The welcome drink I had in the hot Thai weather was refreshing and delicious! The overall atmosphere of the hotel was luxurious and clean. The shampoo and body wash in the room are also Thai brands, and the scent is completely satisfying! Maybe it's because it's an animal-friendly hotel, but I saw a lot of cute dogs. But the best thing was that there were Korean staff!! In particular, Sunny was very kind and helped me make reservations for outside restaurants, so I felt comfortable and thankful! During my stay at the hotel, all the other staff were friendly and the breakfast was pretty good! I recommend it. It's good :)

While I was working in Bangkok for four months I was privileged to stay at the Kimpton Maa-Lai as a resident. They really made it feel at home during my stay. The hospitality goes above and beyond. I really enjoy having a drinks made by Chip at Craft. The pool and sauna are a perfect way to unwind from busy days in the city. I love that I can go to the gym any time of day to get a good workout in and has a very good variety of equipment. The restaurant staff on the 5th floor are so bright and cheery in the morning and work very hard to assure you enjoy your morning breakfast. The room service is also a good option! Every week my room would get cleaned by Bow and they would leave the place feeling so fresh and comfortable. I love when I get back to the room and there are little flowers in a vase or a towel specially folded into an animal. The room has a clothing washer in it and Bow even folded some clothes for me after they laid out to dry. I feel lucky to have such great care. It is very helpful to have such a professional staff create a welcoming environment while I am so far from home. Lastly, don’t forget to check out the rooftop bar where they have a Taco Tuesday deal and Paella dinner on Sundays. They have a really fun vibe up there with good views of the city. Sometimes the music can be a bit loud but I love that they have bands or DJs playing different nights of the week. The Kimpton Maa-Lia are great hosts with a variety of events to look forward to for your time in Bangkok, whether it is for long or short stay.

The rooms are very inviting, the bed and pillows are of good quality, everything is available in the large bathroom (toothpaste, comb, etc.) and the service is very attentive. The breakfast was very varied and plentiful. In the evening, the food in the restaurant was excellently prepared.

The hotel is very new, just 5 years old, with 40 floors in total. It is located in the heart of the city, making it relatively convenient to travel around. The hotel offers comprehensive facilities, including ample parking space and EV charging stations.

My overall experience during the stay was excellent. The staff provided a warm welcome with friendly smiles and were very helpful. They assisted with check-in and storing luggage for an early check-in. The front desk staff provided information about the hotel’s facilities and guided me to my room. They also introduced the in-room amenities and explained the minibar details.

For this stay, I stayed in a Twin Room on the 22nd floor, which offered a view of a central park and Bangkok cityscape. The view from the room was incredibly beautiful, both relaxing and awe-inspiring, with the sight of the city’s high-rise buildings.

The bed was quite firm, not too soft or saggy, and comfortable to sleep on. However, the pillows were soft and too plush for my liking as I prefer firmer pillows. If you’re like me and prefer a firm pillow, don’t worry! You can request a memory foam pillow from the hotel. I’d like to thank Ms. Grape for resolving this issue and ensuring I could enjoy a restful night’s sleep without being bothered by the pillows.

The hotel’s restaurant, Stock Room, serves a variety of dishes that should cater to everyone’s preferences. The breakfast was particularly delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast while admiring the stunning views. (Tip: Choose a bar-style seat by the window for the best experience.)

Thank you to all the staff for their dedicated service, especially Ms. Grape, who welcomed me warmly with her cheerful and humorous personality. Her service made my stay a memorable one, and I will definitely return if I have the chance in the future.
