ASAI Bangkok Chinatown garners praise for its alluring atmosphere, often described as modern and stylish, contributing to its tranquil vibe. Staff professionalism and friendliness are highlighted, enhancing the welcoming feel of the hotel.
While the rooms are applauded for their cleanliness and contemporary design, guests have called out the limited space and soundproofing issues. What a lovely place!!
This hotel made our Bangkok trip complete!
It’s location is the most convenient, the hotel is in the 4th floor of a complex/mini mall where you can find multiple places to munch in (If Chinatown is extreme for you) there is also a 7 eleven downstairs.
For the first day we had breakfast in the hotel, and it was really good, decent collection with an egg cooking station, the Thai Omelette is something else.
The rooms were lovely, cleaned perfectly on a daily basis, and the laundry service of the hotel was super quick and convenient, we paid only THB 180 for a bag to wash, dry and fold.
Highly recommend this place!

ASAI hotel is the brand of the luxury budget brand of the Dusit Group of Hotel , this hotel is at 3 minutes walking from the MRT fantastic location when we know the traffic jam in Bangkok .we were impress by the arrival , there is a masterpiece (chinese Lion ) made of recycled plastic , it is already showing , that this hotel is the new generation of hotel saving on" plastic garbage " the check in was fast and efficient , all in one place reception , meeting room modern , pool table , funky music , a Bar serving some amusing cocktail's cheap and the restaurant all with a view to a green garden , if you want you can grab a bottle of Singha or fill your thermos. The room is well appointed , nice bathroom with 2 bottle shampoo and body soap , bed is very comfortable , small place to write or work , many international plug for the phone , ipad computer etc. after a good nite we went to the all day dining for breakfast , we were welcome by a gentlemen in fact the general manager , Kuni Sun , Japanese's national who was kind enough to show us the buffet breakfast . very interesting buffet nothing fancy like a five star , but you had cereals fruits , home made yoghurt , etc and you had the choice of 2 hot dishes , Asian or continental , toast bread what else you need ? service was very good and staff are smiling . check out was fast and very pleasant . as per Kuni sun it is the new generation of luxury budget hotel from Dusit Hotel group . certainly very good for couples or business people who want to be in Chinatown nd enjoy a nice hotel

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
The pics of this hotel looked amazing, but i was a little underwhelmed. The entrance was all the way at the back of a tiny shopping centre but the lobby on the 2nd floor looks stylish and modern. The corridors of the rooms were not air conditioned which made it feel cheap and stuffy. And the room air con only starts up when you enter the room and place your keycard into the slot. And its set the the highest possible temperature and when you set it to your desired temperature and leave your room with your card, the system forgets your settings and you have to manually choose your desired temp again. I know its a small issue but its super irritating to go in and out of the room countless times and the air con is so warm.
Overall, the cleanliness was good. The decor was nice and for the price, it was worth it. If you wanna visit chinatown, this is an excellent spot.

Dear valued guest, Thank you for your taking time to write this review. Firstly, we were so appreciated you gave compliment to our lobby, cleanliness, and decoration. However, we apologized again about a/c issue. Please kindly be informed that a/c is usually set cool mode normally and it is cut off once you take off the key card. Once you turn on a/c again, you need to adjust a/c temperature again as per system. We really hope you will be back in the next future. Regards, ASAI Bangkok Chinatown Hotel

I don’t often give a five star review but this hotel is a worthy recipient. This hotel is well located in Chinatown and good dining options abound. The breakfast included in the tariff is of good quality, with a lot of variety. The room is a fair size and well serviced by the air-conditioner. The king bed was very firm but reasonably comfortable. We did appreciate the two bottles of drinking water provided per day. The room was also very quiet with no noise from the street, nor from adjoining rooms. The front desk staff were very professional and knowledgeable. The price charged for the room is very reasonable, considering how well rated this hotel is. The shopping centre, below the hotel, has a variety of medium-size shops and some dining options. We arrived at the hotel, on a delayed flight at 2 o’clock in the morning and the taxi driver had trouble finding the hotel, given it is not easily visible from the street and the signage is not fabulous. If I was in Bangkok again, I would happily stay in this hotel.

I just spend the weekend staying in the brand new Asai hotel located in the middle of China town and loved it! Very nice comfortable rooms, great shower (hot and strong pressure), loved the amenities set up too. Although the location offers so much out there on shops and food, the restaurant and bar in the hotel are a must! The menu offers fusion Thai options with a great selection for starters, mains and desserts. The bartenders can recommend either a refreshing cocktail to your taste, a nice craft beer or a healthy juice. And then... the breakfast, a nice spread is set up and complimentary dishes are offered a la carte. I especially loved the toast avocado, with a spicy tomato squash! Super delicious.
Also would like to note that all the staff is so friendly assisting with every need, with recommendations on the menus, but also the surroundings, which shops to visit, which streets to explore as well as a very needed hairdresser.
Wish the team all the best!

Hi travelers, be careful, i saw so many great reviews, i pushed my boyfriend to spend 2 nights there, and the big surprise, these reviews can t be real… rooms are so small, breakfast is more than limited and quality of the food is not there, location is away from the rest of the city, noisy… i mean nothing matched with the comments i read, will report to trip advisor if i find the way.
so many better options in bangkok! Such a waste if time during our first holidays in 2 years.
Team was good actually, nothing to complain this way, they provide a good 4 star service.

Dear valued guest, Thank you for your valued review. Firstly, please kindly allow us to introduce ASAI Bangkok Chinatown Hotel is self-service & sustainability hotel. This means we offer the essential items to hotel guest and items are eco-friendly. ASAI does not have any service such as : Bellboy, concierge, and even valet parking. But hotel staffs are willing to assist you accordingly. ASAI is located in Chinatown area which is around with famous and popular in term of local street food including many Michelin star restaurants. Even hotel is not near the huge shopping mall but you can reach there easily by the subway which is so near from us about 3 minutes walking. ASAI is new & interesting option for people who would like to seek the ancient unique atmosphere in Bangkok and incredible food taste. Last, thank you in advance for your kind understanding. Hope to welcome you back again in the next future. Regards, ASAI Bangkok Chinatown Hotel

Staff is super nice and extremely helpful. They speak very good english which was useful because my Thai is not at all spectacular. They allowed me and my group to stay outside in the lobby and on sofas until our check in at 2pm after we had gotten in at 8am. In addition, the breakfast was very good and very nutritious with eggs and fried rice, vegetables, fruit. The location is prime, walkable, extremely close to the main street in Chinatown which has a lot of street food options. I also felt very safe walking at night which is something I did not experience everywhere in Bangkok.
In addition, the rooms are quiet and extremely comfortable and the pillows are soft and supple which made for a very nice night of sleep. There is a 7/11 downstairs which is open late so in case you are looking for something to eat or any convenience item at any time of day that is where to go! Overall, this hotel is the best of all worlds and i would highly recommend it to someone who is going to be staying in Bangkok!

I had such a pleasant stay at ASAI Chinatown. The rooms were spotless upon arrival and had an updated and modern vibe to them, fresh bottles of water were put into the rooms everyday, and the pillows were so comfortable! I loved being able to take a nice hot shower at the end of a very busy day of walking, and the water pressure was fantastic! This hotel had all of the essentials I needed including the shampoo and hair dryer which was nice to not have to pack into my luggage. I also took advantage of the fitness center which had a couple of cardio machines and a full set of dumbbells. The bar and restaurant also served great food and drinks for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the pool table was an added fun bonus for hotel guests! I was also impressed with the kindness of the front desk reception as they not only let my group check in early, but they also let me check out later free of charge as well! I would highly recommend ASAI to anyone looking for a comfortable and accommodating stay!

This is our 5th time staying at this hotel, and once again, we've had an excellent experience.
From the moment we arrived, the hotel receptionist displayed exceptional kindness by allowing us to check in early, understanding the inconvenience of traveling with a baby and being pregnant. This gesture set the tone for the rest of our stay.
The hotel has consistently upheld its high standard of cleanliness, which is something we truly appreciate. It's reassuring to know that we can count on a spotless and well-maintained environment, especially during these times.
With each visit, our expectations are met and exceeded. We look forward to spending our time here and creating more beautiful memories.
Additionally, the hotel's location in the heart of Chinatown is unbeatable. We find ourselves surrounded by the vibrant culture, delectable food, and unique shopping experiences.
If you're looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the heart of the city, we highly recommend this hotel. Our family has been more than satisfied, and we're sure you will be too.
Thank you to the entire hotel staff for making our stay so memorable. We'll definitely be returning for our 6th visit!

It was a short, cozy stay at Asai! The hotel's location was very convenient; you could even walk across the street to Chinatown and have easy access to the metro station. We arrived quite late at night on our check-in day, which meant the restaurants nearby were closing and we were starving. The receptionist (if I’m not wrong, her name is Katy) was very helpful in providing us with a dining suggestion, so we didn’t waste our time looking for the right restaurant. In addition, she also gave us a room upgrade to city view, which was above our expectations. The room was neat and sparkling clean. The bathroom amenities were good quality for a budget hotel. On top of that, breakfast is well presented and tasty, even though the buffet line was a little too small. The only a few things I was concerned about were the room’s walls being very thin; you could even hear the room next door talking or hearing them switch the lights on and off; and TV instructions should be provided to show guests how to connect to our device (however, thanks to Khun Grace who was patient with us on explaining how to do it). The overall experience was splendid. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place for a Bangkok staycation with friends <3
