I came to visit Bangkok and the Full Moon Party, and I have to say that this hostel was one of the best I've been to. The owners of the hostel were fantastic and helped me out when I missed a flight. Also, I wanted a souvenir monk bowl that couldn't fit in my backpack. They went out of the...

I always stay here whenever I am in Thailand. Perfect location! Its super close to both train stations. In the a good district. Right around the corner from one of the night markets and shopping. Clean, free wifi. The staff is super friendly sweet and helpful. Miss Bee is the best!

We stayed here twice whilst in Thailand and loved it both times. We stayed in a female dorm, which was very clean, comfortable and not at all cramped. Undoubtedly the best thing about the hostel was the owner who went out of her way on numerous occasions to help us and answer our questions and made our time in Bangkok...

Hostel was very clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and point you in the right direction to help navigate the chaos of Bangkok. It is close to all forms of public transport as well as the nightly market. Street food is plentiful and safe.

Stayed here for two nights, room was spacious with a large comfortable bed in the private room we had. Easy to find and easy to get to central Bangkok sights and attractions. Added bonus was the early checkout breakfast we got before going to the airport.

Highly recommended when in Thailand. :) The quality of service, cleanliness, room design and cost of the room exceeded my expectation and other hotels we've been. It has a great location too! We stayed at room 2B (if i'm not mistaken), the first double deluxe room at the 2nd floor near the door. The room's royal design with a light...

Only stayed here for two nights, but it was a really good hostel. Receptionist was incredibly friendly and always went out of her way to help, as did other Saltash members. Dorms and bathrooms were continuously cleaned. Atmosphere is super chilled and quiet, perfect place to get away from the madness of the city!

I've been in this hostel 3 times last year while I was traveling through south east Asia. The hostel is perfect and the location is great! Daily food market, public transport, a park nearby and situated in a lively neighborhood. A lot of great street food in the evenings just around the corner. The owners are super sweet too! They...

We stayed at the Smile Society when we arrived in Thailand for a 2 week break. The society is in a fantastic location to be able to see the night markets and night life that the city has to offer. It is also in a very convenient location as it is in a short walking distance of the sky train...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
