All I care about are price, clean, quiet, and wifi, location. So with that being said 1. Price - a bit overpriced for what you get. We got a private room but it was the Same price as a hotel. 2. Clean- the beds were clean, and the room was, but the bathroom was kinda gross and no water pressure...

The woman, (Ms. V?) who runs the place is incredibly, helpful, and conscientious. Very grateful for her willingness to help me with any questions or confusion about the trips I was going on and the transportation/logistics concerns I had. She made me feel very welcome and I was also very happy that they have computers there where you can print...

I stayed here for 4 days after travelling for 6 weeks. First of all the owners are amazing, there are 2 ladies who are allways working and are around when you need them. I swear they never sleep. They will also tell you off if they need to. The facilities are good. I stayed in the 8 bed mixed dorm....

Having recently stayed at Smile Society twice in the matter of 10 days.. We experienced GREAT hospitality, tidy, neat and affordable accommodation. All necessary requirements were available.. Bed and breakfast, air-conditioning in the room with private bathroom. Bea was wonderful! She went out of her way to assist and make our stay really comfortable, always having a smile on her...

The rooms and showers are spotless and their maintenance schedule works like clockwork for the benefit of their guests. The two sisters running the place are also very accommodating and helpful, but straight enough to make sure that the place will be peaceful and comfortable to stay at. The location is also great as everything we have wanted to go...

Being middle-aged, my wife and I tend to avoid hostels, but we selected Smile Society primarily for its excellent location (near public transport, food, shopping, a park and a night market), good value and may positive online comments. We stayed in a private room with an en-suite bath. Smile Society is a very clean, well-organized smaller hostel with an outstanding...

The hotel has great location. It is situated in a quiet neighborbood so expect to get good sleep. It is very accessible and near to skytrain station (sala daeng) as well as mrt (silom). There are also convenience stores, supermaket and places to eat around the area.As with the rooms, the ensuite rooms as well as the bathroom are nice...

Good hostel. Best to have a crack on with the staff to lighten up the atmosphere. Good facilities and the manager still made me breakfast 15 mins after time..... ahhhh, bless :) depending on what you're there for, i'd recommend a smaller dorm. Less chance of snoring and all that :)

My friends and I stay here every time we are in Bangkok. It's a great hostel in a great central location (5 min walk to BTS). Every time we stay here we love it more and more! We usually stay in the three bed ensuite. The rooms are always VERY clean and the staff in unbelievably helpful! They are always...

We stayed in a double private with on suite. Room was very clean. The manager was very nice and made some useful travel suggestions. Common room is a bit dark, as there's not much natural light. Very close to the MTR and night market

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
