Location wise this hotel is great but it ends there. Reception area is nice but the rest is old and dilapidated. From the make shift lift which felt like it was going break any minute to the bad smell in reception being overbearing made me want to vomit. Room I stayed in was a maze to get too. The sky...

Great location and pretty good about everything. When I arrived, they had upgraded me one level so I stayed on the Sky Level, which has an open patio area, with lots of sun. Rooms 4 & 5 are away from the street and quiet. Staff is very helpful, and pretty good English. They responded to my request to fix the...

For a hotel of its class, the Wellness Residence is quite good. It's in a fantastic location, near the Terminal mall and BTS. Good wifi and AC, and there is a 7/11 downstairs in the building next to it. Downside is its next to Soi Cowboy ( aka bar girls and drunk farang galore) so it was somewhat loud at...

The best thing about this place is the location - right by Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT you can get pretty much anywhere in BKK with ease. The accommodation itself is clean enough, comfortable and spacious and probably better than you should expect of a hotel in this price range. I was surprised by how quiet it was given it's...

This place is unbeatable in this price range. Staffs were very kind and helpful. Rooms are large and clean with basic amenities. The location is superb as it's located very close to BTS and MRT and shopping malls.I've here many times and will continue to do so.

Very big room, cheap room rate. Huge bed and large bathroom. Only problem was there was only a bathtub with shower hose but no shower curtain. So the floor was flooded. Also the hotel is right next to soi cowboy, so if you want the night life and go go bars you are literally next to it. Great if you...

Rooms are clean and spacious. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Great value for money considering its location and size of rooms. This place is very convenient for one who enjoy nightlife and shopping as well as business traveller. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

Though the small staff has limited English ability, they try to be helpful. Our room was large and clean, somewhat spartan, but nevertheless comfortable. Metro and SkyTrain are just a block away, or the doorman will gladly flag a taxi for you.

This hotel is within 50m of the MRT and BTS, making it the perfect place to get around the city from. From the airport (BKK) you jump on the SRT to Makkasan, swap over to the MRT nearby, one stop and you're on the hotel doorstep, for about the cost of a serving of street pad thai. You will also...

We moved from another hotel in Lumpini area to this hotel. At first we think it is too small and inconvenience but when we check in we feel very satisfied. The room is not new but clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is a win. Very closed to MRT and BTS station so you can travel anywhere...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
