Upon arrival our room was not ready as the air conditioner was out of order. After an hour they offered us a different room - smaller than the one we booked with no compensation. The staff was very friendly about it, though, and we were only here for one night so we didnt mind too much. The rooms furniture, decor,...

Well, it feels like the best stay is when you rent a whole studio apartment. This is what Eight Inn offers! That's why it's a little expensive but man it was worth it. You will enjoy it every time! We stayed here on March 2015

We stayed here for 4 days in a deluxe room, the room had a brick wall outside the window so no daylight in the room. The room was dirty and wasn't even cleaned in the time we were there, there were cockroaches in the room as well. We wouldn't have stayed for the whole time but we had paid in...

My family booked 2 deluxe rooms with 3 beds each but we got two rooms with two single bed each and mattresses on the floor. From what I tried to understand was that there were changes on their website and there's no longer 3 single-bedders. Room had cockroach and mosquitoes. One room's toilet door was stuck and the other's toilet...

Eight inn is a small accommodation on Soi 8 off sukhumvit road. Soi 8 is right at Nana BTS and you need to near the BTS for easy getting around in Bangkok, unless you want to sit in traffic for hours. The Soi is not a through road so it is less busy than those on the other side of...

This hotel is reasonably priced, located on a great little street on Sukhumvit and has big rooms. The owner and staff are very friendly, too. So, I recommend this place. The location is just 2 stops from the main shopping area and across the street from the best night life in town. The area is quiet though and you have good...

Stayed for two nights not the greatest, would not recommend! Looks like was furnished badly and is in drastic need of revival, me and my friend were scared to get in the lift. The rooms were out of date and the bathroom was simply dangerous you could easily slip over as the shower spills across the whole floor!

This hotel seems to running a scam. The owner told us he made a mistake on our credit card and had sent it through to cancel it. Had my husband sign another slip and he never cancelled the first. It has been four months and he will not answer our e-mails, correct this or respond in any way. There is...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
