Welcoming, helpful staff and spot bang in the middle of Bangkok's nightlife. Great hotel and good value for money too! Just be warned that anywhere if you stay down Khaosan Road you will be listening to music until the early hours of the morning.

The hotel is located directly on the Khaosan road, which is the centre of everything - shops, fun, night life, very close to history. Everybody can find their place to visit. The pool on the roof is great, the staff was very friendly. The hotel is very close to everything "you are obliged" to see in Bangkok and it gives...

Stayed with a friend as a layover for New Years eve. Got more then I expected for my money at this hotel. It is right in the middle of one of THE most touristy roads in Bangkok so don't stay here is you don't like crowds or noise. That being said it is close to many must do's such as...

This hotel is very loud. Imagining what it would be like to sleep in a night club the room vibrates. My room was tiny which I expect in any major city. The shower was a trickle and I am not a picky shower person but this was terrible. There were a couple of movie channels that were good. I stayed...

Room was small, bad wifi (didn't worked at all), noisy. It was a new year's eve so the noise was really really loudy! We supposed to have room called 'Violet Tower' but we got different and smaller room with different specs. Roof top pool was nice. But for one night the room was okay and location is good.

This hotel is located inside of busy khao san road! If you're not up for parties, stay out of this place! Noise is really loud! Room is ok, little bit dark but bedroom is ok! There's no balcony and the small bathroom is nice with a good shower. Wifi works properly. Breakfast has few options but is fair enough. There's...

Location on Khaosan road is great (but bit noisy), everything is in walking distance. Rooms are clean, but small. Bonus is rooftop swimming pool, but could be more sunbeds there. Perfect for short stay in Bangkok.

I was robed inside my room. I let a small wallet inside my bag, but they checked everything and found. It was people from the hotel because it was inside my room. I claim, but they treat me very bad I said that I was lying. I travel many years, i have been more that 100 hotels and I never...

We stayed here for a night as a family (not a young family I should add, the youngest being 21) and were pleasantly surprised. A week earlier we'd stayed up the road in the Rikka Inn and the Khaosan Palace was much better for the same price. Very nice rooms, the hotel itself was really quite. Yes, you could hear...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
