Our room was situated at the back of the hotel which we heard was better as it can get quite loud at night. We stayed in the cheapest double room which was really spacious with air con and a nice bathroom. The pool is a lot smaller than it looks on the photos so we couldn't get a lounger but...

A great hotel. Altho on the Khao San Road strip the room was really quiet. Compact but a really clean room. Even had mail delivered to the hotel which was no problem for them. Shower and bathroom was incredibly clean. Only 4 star as their rubbish was near the lift and rats were present.

I should have been more smart about booking a hotel on khaosan road but you will not ever get a good nights sleep here. It actually sound like youre out on the street the music is so loud in the room and it doesn't stop until 3 am. After that you have drunk people screaming in the hallway for hours....

Stayed hear with 2 other mates. The staff are very very rude and ugly people. Never hade a smile when dealing with them. Always on there Mobil phones . Very useless and rude staff I have ever seen. I hope management can give there staff a lesson in customer service.

I can't emphasize this enough. I asked the front desk for help with wifi and after insisting that it was my fault that it wasn't working, they ignored me while I stood at the desk and asked for help to connect. Literally the worst service I have ever received.

Friendly service, big and clean rooms, reasonable mini bar prices. The only disadvantage is the noise from Khao Sarn Rd. until 2am. Housekeeping is on duty till evening, no problem for party goers to get their rooms cleaned.

The hotel itself is very low priced but with its location its extremely difficult to sleep unless you plan on sleeping after 4am only. If you are looking for accommodation close to Khao San its probably best if you stay slightly further out. The staff were reasonable, the rooms were not great.

You have simply no chance to get any sleep at this hotel. It's terribly noisy from Khao San Road. Central yes, but no, that's not worth it. Go elsewhere! I just have to give 3/5 because it was clean and had a nice small pool on the roof, but no. Simply to loud.

We started a 4 month trip of Asia by staying here. It was a great way to ease into the Backpacking plans we had. The hotel is situated on Khao San Road where a lot venture in Bangkok. The street is pretty noisy at night, especially where the hotel is. Thankfully though you couldn't here a thing from the hotel....

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
