This is the worse hotel I ever stay in Bangkok even in Thailand. The desk staffs is rude, no smile, not even greetings don't understand English. I have a very unpleasant stay here during my birthday, I checked in on my bday eve, really disappointed. Will never come back and stay in this hotel anymore.

I have styaed this during Songkran Festival 2016 & I'm really shocked abour this hotel: 1.Very rude staff, especially the guy in the evening..Moreover, these staff can not speak much English; the cleaner guy have kept my shoes without any notice, he just returned it after I was asking. If I have forgotten, they would nerver returned. 2.Very dirty room....

Nothing close to hotel, the best thing about this hotel was the room and a nice pool area on the roof top. The hotel offers a tuk tuk service to the station, it did seem like i was an inconvenience each time i asked for the scheduled service which really did not stick to the schedule. Not very helpful staff,...

This is a very good place to base yourself during a stay in Bangkok. It is a little out from the centre but the Skytrain is within walking distance so this isn't much of an issue. The rooms are as to be expected for the price which is quite reasonable. The wifi is free but a bit patchy at times....

You get exactly what you pay for when it comes to the H-residence. The hotel is modern and clean. Don't expect any luxuries or frills. The food is great, the service is good - however, the staff speak little to no English. It's a good place to stay at if you're on a budget :)

Pros -Good location, free shuttle to BTS stop -Rooms ok size, not to big or small -pool area nice for sunbathing Cons -Dirty sheet on arrival but was changed by night porter when requested -area of rooftop pool not complete, this is where the pigeons live. You'd think after a few years of being open this renovation would have been...

This hotel is my 2nd stay after coming here for the first time in 2015. The location is on a soi and about 15 minutes from the BTS (Surasak station) which is not well lit up at night but perfectly safe. The room size wise is ok and the traveler can either have a room with twin beds or one...

*Breakfast, awful - no meatless options. *5 days in a row, no towels. *Loud people slamming doors just about every hour. *Terrible location, TUK TUK doesn't even operate like they advertise. It is supposed to be free every hour. They never did. These people can't be Thai, they are not friendly and accommodating by any means. *Air conditioning unit made...

We booked this hotel just for one night, because we had a late flight and arrived in Bangkok after midnight. The taxi driver we took from the airport could hardly find this small hotel in a hidden street, actually near Sathorn BTS station. However, the receptionist had three attempts to give us our correct room. We received twice the card...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
