It was hard to find a room that stink less like mold. All we saw had a very strong smell. For allergics like me a no go. Room is very small and the place is not very easy to find. For the price you can get better places.

Small, really small and very hard to find. Close to the hub of Sukhumvit and can be quite noisy. I never felt entirely comfortable or safe but that is based on emotion rather than events. Staf seemed helpful.

This hotel is good for solo travelers; few step away from the nana BTS station and close to restaurants and pubs. To find the hotel take the first right turn when you enter in Soi 8. Rooms are small but clean comes with free WiFi and the safe box. Staff speaks very basic English.

Do not stay at the Royal Express Inn if you have any other option! First, we could not open the door to our room, no matter what we tried. Had to repeatedly get a staff member to help us. The room was filthy, the bed uncomfortable and the bedding stained. The bathroom was awful. The sink bowl broken where it...

Possibly the worst hotel I've seen. Arrived to go down a side alley to entrance, building work outside with cracked concrete steps to get inside. Rude receptionist who speaks little English. Next had to Carry big bags up 3 flights of stairs as no lift to room (no help offered). Once in room, there was a bug infestation everywhere, every...

The location is great, not too far from BTS - Nana Station. Only 15 m. away from main road. The staffs are nice & welcome. BUT... no elevator and have to take shuttle Tuk Tuk to another hotel for breakfast (3-5 mins ride)

The receiption does not speak English well, didn't tell me any information how to get to the room, how is working with the breakfast etc. The room was exactly as the photos, but much smaller. In the toilett there were still some hairs and water didn't work well. For BF you need...

POSITIVES – Central location (2 mins walk from Nana BTS station) , cheap with all basic amenities. NEGATIVES – No lift, you get what you pay for. SUMMARY – Overall I was pleased to use the hotel as a very cheap bolt hole for a short while. DETAILS I stayed for about 6 hours (not overnight) in March 2015. Excluding...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
