This place is splendid, top to bottom. The staff are attuned to guests' needs but never intrusive. The rooms are tastefully appointed, spacious, and private. The food is prepared by talented Thai cooks (chefs?). The outdoor space where you may choose to take your meals...More

This review is scary but lovely because we know that we must do everything we can to live up to all that Chris has said. We will do our very best. David

The food is beyond exceptional, truely.
A family of four, we spent almost a week in Cafe Ice, a beautiful and cozy B&B. We slept in the suite, and our daughters, each in one in a small room, and they shared the bathroom. The place is very well located (walking distance...More
The stay at Café Ice was precisely what we needed after two weeks of traveling around Thailand. The B&B is centrally located and beautifully decorated with teak furniture throughout. There are a lot of personal touches that make the building both charming and cozy.

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
