I was looking for a hotel that was low key, different, small and out of the hustle and bustle. We would be coming in from a week in Bhutan and just wanted to relax. We have been to Bangkok before so there was no pressure to sightsee. The Siam was everything we wanted and more!!! We stayed in a Siam...

The Siam is an unique place, a travel in time back to the years of sophisticated luxury and unparalleled service. It's hard to believe that you are in a huge city as Bangkok when you relax in this green heaven. Everything is perfect: hotel design, furnitures, rooms amenities and last but not least the service. The old fashioned design is...

Siam pool villa with river view is the way to go here. All the rooms are nice but this is the best. New Years brunch was best meal we had in our 10 day trip to Thailand. Staff was VERY accommodating. The Mandarin is a top choice too, but there is so much traffic in Bangkok that being able to...

I arrived in Bangkok on on a red-eye flight and went to the hotel around 7:30 am, expecting to leave my luggage and find something else to do. Instead, they quickly made my room and I was in the room by 8 am. I stayed in a riverside suite. There was a lot of room, private pool, large tube, walk-in...

The entire staff is genuinely kind and helpful. We adored our butler (Sudep) and the GM, Nick Downing is fantastic. This is definitely a more private and quiet Bangkok vibe. Not in the hustle-n-bustle of the fast city. The property is beautiful, spa gave fantastic treatments and food at the main restaurant offers something amazing for all. We especially loved...

My husband and I stayed at The Siam this past December. We were lucky enough to stay at the Pool Villa. Upon arriving to the hotel, my exact thought was "oh my god", it was that beautiful. The hotel, the grounds, the decor and ambiance, everything was beyond our expectations. We met our butler for the trip, Sumet, and he...

Such a unique hotel - unlike anywhere else we have ever stayed. We were particularly impressed with the art and antiques that decorated the hotel. It was like a living museum - done in a very tasteful way. We were assigned a butler during our stay who was attentive but not in an overbearing way. Food at Chon Thai bistro...

I've been to aThe SIAM hotels. The service is really nice. The staff is incredible, helpful. The actual hotel itself is so nice as well. After long day for travelling we visted the spa center, it's so nice, we had a nice massage.

Without question there is no other hotel in Thailand, Asia or the world that does it like The Siam! In fact, with only 39 rooms, it is more like living in your own private palace than a hotel. It re-defines luxury, with an understated elegance where the staff (and your private butler!) anticipate your every need. The Pool Villa Suite...

We just left The Siam as the first stop on our honeymoon. It was our first time in Thailand and did not know what to expect about Bangkok. The Siam is a beautiful oasis outside of the chaos of the city. The decor is stunning and the amenities are top notch. The hotel is very chic and the staff is...

Staying in Dusit

Neighbourhood Profile
Dusit
When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city. The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and the serenity here is in stark contrast with the chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit seems to have stood the test of time. Come here to find family businesses in traditional shophouses, small-scale local markets and streets unfazed by modern city life.
