Centrally located, but quiet, this hostel is a great option for travelers who want to explore at their own pace. Rooms are well designed with stairs rather than ladders, so you aren't rattled around when your bunk mate comes home at 02:00 or heads out at 06:00. The ladies running this place were constantly cleaning and tidying, and it shows....

first it has a wonderful vibe, the dorms are spacious with curtains for your privacy, the details in the ladies bathroom include cotton for removing the make up, the showers are really nice. is located in a quite street beside Kao San and Rambrutti streets, you are in the middle of the action, has security keys therefore no estrange visitors...

I am staying here on recommendation from a friend. I am in a 16 bed cabin dorm (as opposed to the standard dorm room), and it is one of the best set ups I've had travelling so far. A cosy wooden cabin, with a shelf, a light, a fan and a tv. You shut the wooden door, and you are...

2 streets above Khaosan so quiet at night but 2 mins away from the hustle. Really friendly staff and such wide singles. Dorms were nice and clean and comfy, as were the bathrooms. Great place for a solo female traveller, and you can meet so many people to hang out with.

Backpacker hostel located next to Khao San Road (Bangkok). The good thing is that is in a quiet street, so it is close to this busy road but in a nice area. Therefore, outside you can find many pubs, restaurants, shops, taxis, tuk-tuks, etc. The hostel has many wooden furniture. Breakfast is also included :) I stayed in a room...

I met some great people here during my 4 days stay in Bangkok. The hostel is close to the khaosan road. The hostel is nice and clean, and the road isn't so loud, so you can still have a good night sleep. Can recommend! Good place for backpackers traveling alone. Be openminded!!

Stayed in the Cabin Dorm two times. Good leveling between staying in a dorm and getting a door to close around you. Never had a problem with this place, it's just the best. They help with everything from luggage storing to late check-in. There is always personal in the reception. The personal is super friendly, replaced my broken immediately, helps...

This is the perfect model of a travellers' hostel. Beautifully decorated and fitted out; even the fish tank is well looked after; the attention to detail is obvious. I love this place and will definitely go back. Really well thought out cosy door 'room' with privacy curtain, lighting, lockable storage and more. Didn't get five stars as they didn't change...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
