Located just 2 streets away from khaosan road which was perfect for us- close to the chaos but far enough away to get a decent nights sleep. Shabby sheek seemed to be the theme of the hostel. Really helpful reception staff and can book tours for you etc. The common area located in reception was nice. Few sofas to chill...

I stayed here for 5 nights. It is in great location one street away from Khao San Road. You get also free breakfast in price and drinks&little snacks through all day. When i come back to BKK i will probably go back here.

I eas in a mixed dorm with 16 beds. The bed is tidy. but it is a bit dark inside . Although the room contains 16 beds. It is pleasant enough because it is quiet and facilities like shared toilets and bathrooms are clean. The hostel is located near Khaosarn road, but in tranquil atmosphere. I couldnt find it at...

My partner and I stayed two nights and the second day we found on my bed very unpleasant little black bugs. They change us our "beds" in the same room but that same day bugs appear again. According to the reaction of the receptionist, I think it is not the first time it happens.

It's a really clean hostel. The beds are clean you'll get a towel and the showers are really clean and big. The rooms are without a window but it is Bangkok! Its 5 min to the khaosan but at night really quiet. The breakfast is ok. They have Coffee, Juice, Cornflakes, eegs and meat. Good place to stay

I backpacked all around Thailand for around 1 month, and this was one of my favorite hostels! The staff was very nice, the AC was cold (which was totally fine with me considering the heat stroke that I almost experienced every time I stepped outside), and everything was very clean and tidy. I stayed in the Cabin dormitories, and I...

I booked this place for 2 nights after a recommendation from a friend. I did like the hostel : clean bathrooms, comfortable bed and good wifi. It was a shame that when I woke up in the morning and turned the light on there was a bedbug on my pillow... on looking down the side of the mattress I also...

Stayed in the double room (there is only one in the entire place). The interiors are charming, facilities are shared but generally clean. Breakfast is minimalistic but satisfying. They have a (extremely strict, it turned out) no-visitor policy which one is noted of only upon check-in as one of many points in the terms & conditions. I did not take...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
