Stayed 4 nights for business. In past I stayed Shag Lila BKk, Emporium etc. Compared with them, the hardware is a kinda mid – especially if compare recent novel innovation of emporium and that area especially. Having said that, the hospitality fo staff is super excellent and helped me even a sort of annoying bill arrangements even. Location wise very...

I recently spent 7 nights at the JW Marriott in Bangkok, this was 90% business related and 10% leisure. This is by far one of the best Marriott's I've stayed in. The hotel staff are their greatest asset. I can't speak highly enough about the friendliness and service levels I experienced. On this point alone I'll be a return visitor...

We started and ended our very belated honeymoon trip to Thailand with a few days at this hotel and we were given a fantastic welcome to mark the occasion. The rooms are typical high end corporate style decor, with all the facilities you could need, whether travelling for business or pleasure. The hotel is a short walk from the nearest...

Dear smartacg Thank you for staying at the JW Marriott Bangkok during your recent trip to Thailand. I am happy that you enjoyed the big and clean rooms. I like to add that food service at the pool is prepared and delivered through room service in same fashion as food is being brought to guest rooms. The associates on duty...

I was excited to stay here thinking it would be a little slick of America in Bangkok. The room seemed slightly old and had a terrible tayout. I'm not sure if it was specific to my room but the bathroom was near the entrance then there was a long hallway that led to a cramped room. We ordered room service...

The staff is very friendly especially on the Nat, Kitty, and Paan in the executive lounge. All of the staff was genuinely concerned about guests enjoying their stay. The rooms were always cleaned and maid service was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to my co workers or family. I will definitely stay here again.

Well, if you've read any of my other reviews you'll notice I focus more on the staff than the facilities. This is no exception. The JW Marriott in Bangkok isn't the newest or most modern hotel...but the people here are excellent indeed. There is a large variety of shapes and sizes to their rooms and you will be content regardless....

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
