Good location on Soi 5 opposite 24 hour supermarket and good selection of restaurants. 5 minutes walk from Nana BTS station. Stayed here several times over the years and like many hotels here badly in need of revamp. Appears to be marketing mainly Arab tourists which can lead to long queues at check in. Service non existent. Sent me to...

The location is brilliant which is the best thing about this hotel. Close to BTS and walking distance from everything. Another thing worth mentioning was the free shuttle (Tuk Tuk) to BTS The check in was efficient. The room was quite dull and tired looking though spacious enough as ours had a sitting area. The room had 2 televisions so...

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the location but were sorry to read about your experience in the restaurants. You are pointing out in your review about a free shuttle to the BTS. Please note that the Amari Boulevard does not offer this service as we are 3 minutes walk from the station and it woudl...

I can't belive the Amari is so low on the tripadvisor list of hotels in Bankok. I stayed at the Amari for three nights in late July and early August after a five week trek through S.E Asia. It was everything I could have wanted as a relaxing spot to recover! The pool area was lovely and the service there...

Located on Sukhumvit street at Soi 5 within 5 minutes walk of the SkyRail station at Nana so very good for independant travel round main areas of Bangkok. Now depends on what you are looking for and reason for trip. My wife and I had just come up from Phuket to spend four nights before returning to the UK. Hotel...

Hotel was terrible but they have a security guard outside that directs traffic (which is useless in that it does not to be done) by blowing a whistle all day. I called the front desk which was a complete waste of time. If you want to sleep while in Bangkok do not stay at this hotel.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that the whistle of the security guard disturbed you during your stay. We however wonder if you were really referring to this hotel as we do not have any security guard managing traffic with whistles on any side of the building, which could also be barely audible...

We spent 3 nights at this nice hotel. We stayed in the new building. Very spacious rooms and dito bathroom. Food (we had breakfast, lunch and dinner) very good. From traditional Thai Cuisine to Western Dishes. All great. Swimming pool very nice. Nicely decorated.

If you want to stay in Bangkok and indulge in the local culture, Amari Boulevard is ideally located. On Sukhumvit street at Soi 5. Step outside the hotel and start walking on Sukhumvit and you will pass by the shopping center on Bangkok. From street shops to malls. The hottest clubs are also within walking distance. Q Bar, Nest, Level,...

Nothing special to 'wow' you in this hotel. However, it wont disappoint you either. The hotel is situated in a busy location so if you like shopping and street foods, this place is for you. The rooms are clean; the lobby is small. Food here, however, is great. Value for money: average. I'd look for other hotels for a different...

This is a decent hotel in a very good location for getting easily around Bangkok (5min from Nana BTS), and good in terms of price/quality. Friendly service and a nice breakfast buffet, but the furnishing is a bit worn out.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
