We’re at the centre of it all in the heart of the vibrant Pratunam neighbourhood in downtown Petchburi. Whether you are here for weekend shopping or on business, you’ll find everything you need close by and we’ll do all we can to brighten your stay. You’ll have quick and easy access to the best shopping centres, dining experiences and lifestyle malls right on our doorstep as well as some culturally rich hotspots such as Bangkok Old Town and the famous Erawan Shrine. The financial district, Silom, and Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thanglor, are easily accessible via the nearby Ratchatewi BTS Skytrain or the Petchburi MRT Subway. Our spaces offer a home-from-home warmth with beautiful touches to the décor that are uniquely Thai in inspiration. All rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows that let in an abundance of natural daylight. But the piece de resistance is the view they afford of Bangkok’s bedazzling city splendour by night. Simply awe-inspiring. We can’t wait till you get here and experience it for yourself.

Hotel's Favourite
->Area and Surroundings:
The hotel is extremely well located just 10 minute walk to Siam Paragon Mall or lot of other shopping malls. (For which Bangkok is famous for). You could also find lots of seven eleven and restaurants in the vicinity. Though in true sense, you would never need to step out to eat food, the hotel itself has so many awesome options for food.
->Room:
We booked a premier room but were upgraded to a SUITE room by hotel compliments. Really special thanks to Mr. Nanttadej Phumsupyuenyong (Nathan) to get us a really wonderful suite on the 25th Floor. They also upgraded my friends in the same category room which is a real gesture.
We had one of the most wonderful hotel rooms, and I already have started missing it. Loaded with all modern amenities which were tactfully placed, the room soon started to give a homely feeling. Being a suite room, it had a huge living area and a separate bedroom. The living area had a comfortable sofa setup for watching television and an executive work desk with chairs. For ease this area had its own powder Toilet.
The bedroom had a closet area and a wonderful bathing area. The bedroom was also very big with luxurious bedding, a pillow menu and what not. It definitely had its own day bed setup to watch just enjoy being on heights and views of Bangkok Skyline. A broad Chester which houses a mini fridge and minibar, tea kettle, glasses etc. They had consideration that I am traveling with a 5-year-old and hence also placed a separate bed and kept all amenities for her. It was a pleasure to see notes the care and detailing done by hotel before we arrived.
Must mention, as I was checked in to the room, the room’s study desk was beautifully decorated with loads of chocolates, cakes and local bakery delicacies. I was truly pleased and awestruck. I have never experienced such warm welcome before.
->Bathroom and Bathing experience:
The bathroom had sliding door to the bedroom on the bathing tub side. The kids really enjoyed the bath tub. There was a glass enclosed shower area as well and gave a good bathing experience. The bathroom was very clean and hygenic.
->Hotel Staff:
Extremely polite, welcoming, interactive and warm. Each of them deserves star to be performing for the hotel wonderfully.
I have never seen such a good presentation from a hotel staff on arrival. They explained us each and every thing about the hotel. They provided us with the area map, discount coupons, wifi codes etc with great patience and love.
->Breakfast:
The breakfast was one of the biggest spreads that I have seen it recent times. (I must admit it was bigger than JW Marriott buffet). The food was phenomenal and touched cuisines from all over the world. It’s not easy to be putting up such a huge show each morning. We really enjoyed the Indian delicacies specially prepared for all guests.
I must mention the most innovative kids desert area with a cotton candy machine was a first for me. The pastries and other deserts were decorated in different cartoon character shapes and sies to charm the young guests.
WOOOOW food from the hotel at all times. The food once delivered to room was piping hot and has same quality as served in the restaurant.
->Swimming Pool / Gym / Spa:
The hotel had a great pool but due to time, I was not able to take a plunge.
I must say that the hotel has a great spa, I really loved the massage which was very professional and really helped me relax after a long and tiring day.
->Special mention:
I am really thankful to Mr. Nanttadej Phumsupyuenyong (Nathan) – Director Room Division who was in touch with me before our arrival and made all possible things to make me and my family comfortable.
I strongly vouch for the hotel and would request community to try them on your next visit.

Our 2nd stay at the Amari Watergate. We love the location and particularly the gym! While we could hear sounds from the adjacent rooms, especially of the flushing system, we liked the spacious room. Service throughout our stay was top notch. Could see the pride that the staff have in the hotel. When we asked for a late check-out, we were assisted by Gun who facilitated our check-out at 1pm. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Bangkok.

Thank you for pointing out missed opportunities, as well. Rest assured that the team is looking into it as of the moment. We do hope to welcome you back again. We booked our trip to Thailand with Affordable world and they did an excellent job picking hotels for us. This is one of the hotels we stayed in while in Thailand and I absolutely loved it. We had a high floor and we upgraded to a better room for like $100 more total (with our travel company) and we had a humongous room which had two big bathrooms and more room than we know what to do with. Since you can’t drink the water in Thailand they provide bottles of water every day that you can use and they refill.
The location is perfect to walk around and see the city. The hotel is clean, safe, centrally located and I was very pleased. Our stay also included an unlimited breakfast buffet which was huge. A lot of the foods were a bit interesting to me but they had a lot of choices so you will not be disappointed.
In my opinion, Bangkok was a bit dirtier than I expected but when I went back to my hotel I felt a sigh of relief to be back in a safe place. Not that I’m saying Bangkok is unsafe but the streets can get a little wild. Amari is an excellent choice if you’re visiting Bangkok!

I stayed at Amari Hotel for Two Nights, they allowed me early checkin at 8:00 AM. The Hotel is a good one hour drive from Bangkok Airport. They offered Complimentary breakfast with a wide choice/ the spread was good. A great initiative by the hotel is that they have discarded use of Plastic Bottles. They have provided in room Coffee, Tea and drinking water in sealed Glass Bottle. Over all good service. Right opposite to the hotel there is a shopping mall. But be careful about the Taxis that are outside the hotel. Always insist on Metered fare not the price demanded by Taxi Driver.

Dear SumanMukhopadhyay, We so appreciate you taking the time to share your guest experience at Amari Watergate Bangkok this past January. Very happy that you found both the public spaces and guest rooms to be clean, and that you have acknowledged our "fight" with plastic. It is without a doubt the most peaceful setting in what anyone would think a very busy location. Perhaps you could revise the number of stars given (3), if you enjoyed the stay, We look forward to seeing you on another visit to Bangkok! Kind regards, Jovana Cvetkovic Guest Relations Manager

The hotel is well located and within walking distance to the Platinum Shopping centre as well as the Palladium Shopping Centre. There is also a night market behind the hotel and a vast array of interesting shops lining the road. The food market outside the Platinum Shopping Centre is a must-visit with a range of mouth watering food at very reasonable prices! Try and get your souvenir shopping done at the market as the prices compare very favorably. The hotel itself had reasonable accomodation although the bathrooms are in need of an upgrade. However, the service is exceptional and no request was too demanding! Taxis were organized speedily and the bar outside the hotel was a lovely place to relax with a cocktail after a hectic day of shopping. Temal was outstanding with his pleasant personality and desire to provide the best service that he could! he is definitely an asset to the hotel!

We stayed for 4 nights (inclusive of the first day Test and Go package) during the Good Friday weekend. We had stayed here multiple times pre-covid, and wanted to book a SHA+ hotel that we trust as a safer option during covid period, and for our first trip after 2 years of covid lockdown.
The Test and Go was fuss free, picking us up in a van from the airport straight to the hospital for PCR test in the van, and directly to the hotel for check in and quarantine. We had to call the reception after 8 hours to find out our PCR results, instead of being informed soon after the result was out at about 4-5 hours after the test (from the time printed on the test report). Glad the Test and Go is now off the travel requirement from May, and would be a lot easier for our next visit to Bangkok.
The Deluxe twin room that we had was dated (we know that they had refurbished rooms but this was not one of it) and a little dusty around the corners of the room and bathroom. There were some mini flies (dead and alive) in the room and bathtub. Housekeeping seemed overwhelm with only 1 lady to service the entire level. Towels were left as a pile on the bed, and the replenished amenities were left scattered over the bathroom countertop. They ran out of body wash and lotion on our 3rd and 4th day, but still took away the unfinished body wash left from the first 2 days (which is still mostly full), and we had to make do with just shampoo and conditioner. The water pressure in the shower was great, a comfort to wash and cool down after a whole day out in the Thailand heat. The beds were comfortable for a good night sleep. 4 glass bottles of water were provided each day, but was missed out on our second day. Breakfast selection was good with many choices available, although service was rather hectic.
The location is good, just across the Platinum mall and the sky bridge that connects to Central World, Erawan Shrine, Big C, Siam, etc. Convenience shops (7-11) are just down the road, or across at Platinum mall, so we could easier get our snacks and water supply.
It is great to be able to travel to Bangkok again, and the excitement of it overshadows everything and did not dampen our hotel experience. I would love to visit again and I really hope for Amari to step up on the housekeeping and maintenance of the rooms.

We were lucky enough to get a room in this hotel after my partner was discharged from hospital in Bangkok during a illness at the end of our holiday.
The hotel itself is so well located in the busy shopping part of Bangkok.
Which can be a shoppers paradise.
We were given a room with a magnificent view of part of this amazing city on the 17th floor.
The room itself was clean and comfortable, and was very well serviced by the housekeeping staff each day.
We also made full use of the cascade restaurant on the ground floor, which included breakfast and dinner during our stay.
The team in the restaurant were all very welcoming and friendly, and we got to know many of them as we ended up staying longer than we originally expected to.
The food produced was of an excellent quality and nothing was to much trouble for the chef and team in the restaurant.
I feel that we also need to mention the check in team on the front desk were also very accommodating as we had to extend our stay and we were able to keep the same room.
And any requests we made was met with wonderful smile and no problem.
We were also very touched with the gift of flowers to our room when the management heard of my partners ill health which was a very nice surprise.
Although we didn’t use the pool we did use the area to sit and I must also mention the team who worked in and around the pool area.
All in all this hotel is in a marvelous location and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone thinking of coming to stay in Bangkok.
A big thank you again to all at Amari Watergate Bangkok.

Despite the troubles of 2020, I was still able to enjoy my vacation by celebrating New Years here. The hotel's location was perfect and it's overall ambience clean and relaxing. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would like to commend Andy Sudarso, Front Office Manager for his exceptional service. He greeted me by my name at check-in, gave me a newly renovated room and wrote me a personalized letter with the fruits that were delivered to my room. Thank you for your hospitality! Looking forward to my next stay!

This is one of the older (25 years old) “classic” high end hotels in Bangkok. This hotel’s best assets are in my opinion the super central location in downtown Bangkok (in walking distance to any kind of shopping, restaurants and entertainment) and the generous size of their rooms.
Me and my wife stayed in a Grand Deluxe Room on the 20. th. floor, and the view was impressive, but would have been a whole lot better if only the windows had been cleaned. The windows in our room were so dirty on the outside that you could hardly see out at all, those windows can not have been cleaned for a very long time for sure.
The lobby is grand and very inviting, but the 5 star expression ends quickly by the time you reach the room corridor and your room. The rooms appear rather outdated now, and come with old TV’s. Our TV had snowy pictures on all channels, including the hotel info channel. On day 2, on request, a staff member came to check, and replaced it with another old TV that was only slightly better. Even the TV’s in the lobby had snowy pictures. How this is possible in 2020 and in an high end hotel, I do not understand. Housekeeping is doing a great job though, in spite of being outdated, our room was indeed clean.
This hotel markets itself as a 5 star hotel, which in my opinion is misleading. 4 star, yes definitely, but miles away from 5 star. I would, however, gladly stay here again if the price is right due to the central location and the good size of the rooms.

Undoubtedly one of the best 5* in Bangkok City, I stayed in Executive club studio room for which they have separate check in process area at the 33rd floor, Check in is smooth and hassle free, you also get access to the lounge with executive club room which is amazing light snakes, soft drinks and tea coffee is available whole day for the lounge guests and in the evening they have happy hours during in they serve all the beverages ranges of wines, sparkling, malts, beer and what not. The room itself was pretty nice with the skyline views, I had a great time there and will visit again for sure. Cheers.
