Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

We visited this sky bar having been told the views from the top were amazing. The views were okay however not panoramic. The reason for the review is to inform you of the rudeness of the staff at this hotel/bar. Ushering you through like it’s a football match and demanding you

This is a very nice place to stay. Excellent views of both the river and Bangkok. I really like the oversized rooms with a small kitchen. The breakfast buffet is very good, the grilled ham is excellent. The pool is on the small side but your in Bangkok why do you need a

We visited the Lebua once in February and once in March this year. Unfortunately, the hotel was not what it had been in the past. We have been staying at the Lebua since slightly after it opened and when it opened we would have rated the hotel as one of our top five. Not now.

Can anyone tell me are there many restaurants in walking distance other than in the hotel?
The hotel is located at the corner of a busy intersection but there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The hotel has a few top restaurants as well. I chose to take a taxi or tuk tuk to eat at other places not very near the hotel. You should have no problem finding places to eat.
