The hotel is located in lively mainly chinese dominated area. You will find many small chinese stores as well as the huge shopping mall 'Robinson' nearby. Nice massage parlor and excellent coffee shops and pharmacy in walking distance. The price for the accomodation is fair, rooms are simple but clean, the staff is nice. There is a gym and a...

We enjoyed staying here. It was fairly easy to find - exit the sky train right, go across the very busy main road and then head straight up and its on the right. The staff are very nice, we took a trip to the floating market with the tour guide and also got a lift back to airport when we...

Stayed here to start off our backpacking trip for 4 nights. Very clean hotel. Beds were massive! Staff were very friendly and we got a complimentary drink on entry. One issue we found with this hotel was that it wasn't as near to the centre as we originally thought, was actually a 10 minute drive which turned into almost an...

"Expect what is unexpected" Very affordable Price with excellent location. A 5 minutes walk from Saphan Taksin station and Central Pier. It is centrally located near the chao Phraya River. The hotel facilities is quit average and adequate for a short stay in bangkok. The staff are friendly. I will definitely come back on my next visit again.

This was the selected hotel for Intrepid Tours that began in Bangkok and went through Cambodia. Compared to the rest of the dives the tour company provided, this was a "dream" but very average. Close to walk to stores.

Stayed here as part of a tour group and was surprised at how nice the hotel was. Staff were friendly and for the most part spoke good English. I had issues with my key card as the power to the room would turn off after 30 seconds no matter how I put the card in. The maintenance guy tried to...

I think I gave them 4 stars last time, but bumping it to 5 as they've improved the breakfast setup both in terms of the room and the food, and I had a better hot water situation this time around (maybe luck of the draw). I'd definitely be back at the price.

I have to say that I did not expect much from this Hotel.. But their service and room was excellent. Also, the bell boy was really helpful. He was always smiling. That left a good impression on me. What I also like about this place is its proximity to Saphan Taksin station. From there you can ride a boat to...

15 minutes walk to Surasak BTS Station, or 10 minutes walk to Saphan Taksin BTS Station (next to the Boat Pier). We took the free shuttle boat to Asiatique. With many restaurants, 7-11 and Bangkrap Bazaar & Robinson shopping mall nearby the note. We went in middle of July 2016, and it was their raining season. They are offering promotion...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
