The main point of this property is location. Centrally located and accessible, Crowne Plaza is a great hotel, especially for business travelers!
Check-in was intimate and engaging, they also offered me a welcome gift (a small Thai elephant) I found this small touch very memorable.
My room was very large, clean and everything about it felt warm and welcoming. They had a welcome fruit platter for me as a loyal member. The bedding was perfect and offered a lavender sleep spray (which I used religiously). I found the hotel to be perfect for my stay.
One special note was the Club Lounge! Located on the top floor of the hotel, I found it very nice and exclusive. The high ceilings and natural light made it comfortable. The food service had a premium feel to it and the staff were always at hand for any requests.

My wife and family and I stayed here for two days over Christmas 2022 and my wife and I then returned for four days in early January 2023. We had spacious comfortable clean rooms with sizeable beds, and we ate very well in the Panorama restaurant both for breakfast (where there is a fantastic choice) and for dinner - we also enjoyed the very good Chinese restaurant on th 22nd floor. I enjoyed using the fitness and the pool. The staff were very helpful and warmly welcomed us. Lumpini Park is a three minute walk away - nice to visit and to see the Iguanas ! I'd stay again without hesitation.

Hotel rooms spacious and has comfortable beds however two queen size beds would better suit this space.
Conveniently located next to both the subway and BTS (train above ground)
Main atrium restaurant closed at time of visit so not all facilities were open. Room quality was below average with work old carpet that needs replacing.
Club lounge, No windows no views just sits in the middle of the top floor. Breakfast was average, didn’t seem to hit the mark all drinks as club lounge guest were charged at breakfast time for a soft drink.
Hotel reception has really strong perfumed odur that needs to be turned down. Was questioned about my lounge access eligibility when I had a card that opened the doors… Decided to leave this hotel earlier for somewhere else

As all the IHG Hotels that I have stay, is an excellent hotel. I very much appreciated the big size of the room, the 17 meters long swimming pool as I swim every day and the good maintained of all areas of the hotel. But what really makes the difference with other 5 Stars hotels is the incredible nice and efficient staff. Polite, helpful , always with a smile and ready to help. I want to mention M.Bee, M.Puri, M.Freen and the other responsible at the Reception desk , that I am sorry not remember their names. I want also mention the absolute cleanliness of the hotel and particularly the Clean Team member who cleaned so well my room, M. Orasa who also was so kind to did it while I was swimming and coming back I always found my room perfectly ready. From now on the Crowne Plaza Lumpini Park will be my Hotel in Bangkok and I am very please to warmly recommend it.

I stayed here in the past when the loyalty program benefits were quite weak (prior to 2023). I have returned because IHG recently improved its program so I wanted to give it another try. This stay was far more impressive in terms of value than it previously was. Now as IHG Diamond the benefits include breakfast and lounge. Like last time I was upgraded to a junior suite but it's actually a real suite with door separation and even 1.5 bath. Not many hotels in that price range have 2 Japanese toilets, in fact they are probably the only one in Bangkok. It's still an old hotel so it will not wow, but they renovated since my last visit so it looks better. The club lounge was very quiet, any time of day we went there. For breakfast there was hardly anybody, buffet was cold food except dim sum, the rest was a la carte. For happy hour sometimes we were alone, at most there were 6 other people. For Marriott or Hilton hotels in Bangkok, this is unimaginable because they have unpleasant overcrowded lounges these days. Food at CP was above what I would expect for CP brand, many days they had some fish or seafood dishes. Drinks were less impressive than food, but some cocktails were available nonetheless on the menu, so not bad in the grand scheme of things. Hyatt Regency does not even have that and it’s almost always a more expensive hotel. Breakfast in the restaurant at CP was good; we can see the Japanese influence of this hotel: miso soup, sushi, gyoza, seaweed salad, japanese curry, yummy! Overall this stay was very good and the hotel is no longer at a disadvantage if comparing apples and apples for guests who are top tier of the loyalty program of various hotel chains. In fact if anything Crowne Plaza might come out ahead.

Would highly recommend it if you are on a business trip. The room was clean & cosy. Decent options to eat and shop, though 2 stops away (in the MRT) you have better options to shop & eat. Just next street you may find nightclubs (mostly for Japanese), bars & restaurants. Breakfast was good enough, not so grand spread. Unfortunately 1st 3 days we had to eat at the lounge as they were renovating the restaurant. Very cordially staff, you can expect "Thai Hospitality" from them. If you are a backpacker or a tourist in Bangkok looking for some "fun time" may not be a good choice, as the location is well away from those neon light areas. But if you are looking for a calm place to rest after a long day at work, have a tranquil morning walk, this is the best option, just a few meters from Lumpini Park.

I really love this Hotel and have stayed here many times now. I stayed this time for a month as I was unable to travel back to China. The staff are wonderful and sincerely accommodating. Every few days they would check how I was doing and would enquire if there was anything I needed. The food and service is fantastic. I used the Spa facilities and pool everyday and the Therapist there would give me recommendations on how to use the Sauna properly. The location is ideal a short 2 minute walk from Silom and Saladaeng. This hotel will always be my home away from home. Thank You guys for making my month long stay so comfortable.

Stayed here for two nights. I arrived at around noon and my room was ready. As a Platinum member I got upgraded to a Premium King room at level 30. Room was spacious with amazing views of Bangkok skyline.
I can see that hotel is undergoing extensive renovation with the main restaurant closed and rooms that require some refurbishment. Staff were friendly and my check in went smoothly and efficiently.
Didn’t take breakfast so I couldn’t comment on that. The pool was of a good size. Elevators were very responsive which is a plus, given that you need to take the elevator twice to get to your room. Wifi was not that strong but good enough.
This property is in such an ideal location, within 5 minute proximity to MRT and BTS Sky Train. Silom Plaza is also close by and you are also one station away from Samyan Mitrtown. Overall had a great stay.

I have stayed at the Crown Plaza Lumpini many times. I book a club room and breakfast is included in the lounge, but not in the restaurant. But the lounge breakfast is substantial as is the cocktail hour and food offerings. You will not need dinner with the amount of food offered. The lounge is superb. I am a resident of Bangkok. Email if you need anything else.
Hello, the rooms I've stayed in all have the international electrical outlets. The same sort you see on aircraft for plugging your laptop power supply into.
