Many things has been said about this hotel, It is really nice, the rooms included the bathrooms are huge. I was more than happy to get a cab to get around. The only negativ point are the Spa prices which are ridiculous, there is no reason to visit it. Next door, the prices are like 70% less, for example the...

Was really looking forward to our stay at the Sukhothai. Arrived from the airport around 4pm. Check in was slow and rather tedious, but what struck me the most was the arrogance of the western staff and the rather aloof nature of even the Thai staff at check in. After we checked in - we were asked to wait in...

Having spent yet another great long weekend at the Sukhothai in Bangkok, there is nothing to add to the caption above: this hotel is both perfect and timeless. I've been staying here since 9 years and every stay surpasses the previous. The large suites are pure bliss and although no longer 'the most modern' their timeless elegant decor and impeccable...

In the center of Bangkok, The Sukhothai allows us to get away from the hustle and bustle of energetic city. Only just few steps from hotel gate at busy Sathorn Road, hotel property is very quiet. I stayed 3 nights at The Sukohthai in early October for the congress. The gardens, courtyard, pond with lotus flowers are always perfectly clean...

The Sukhothai is my favourite hotel in Bangkok. And by a long way. It is centrally located, wonderfully appointed and has a wonderful "Thai" ambiance. The restaurants are superb and your every need will be met by the Thai staff.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
