Very comfortable hotel with great amenities. Staff was very polite and made sure all of our needs were met. Ate meals at multiple restaurants in the hotel and never had a bad dish. One downside about the pool was it was in the shade most of the day but that is a very small complaint. The views from the Moon...

This hotel really tries to make you feel special. We checked in really early, but they organized it so, that we could have their (amazing!!) breakfast while they cleaned out a room for us. We had an early check out again the next morning, so they made us a breakfast box to take to the airport. The room was amazing,...

Fab views in complete open air - 61 floors above ground, in center of town. Reserve ahead. Welcome to modern and exotic BKK with great drinks and food - plus pleasant and efficient service, with an Asian touch

The location of the hotel is not that perfect, it is about a 20 minutes walk from the public transportations. Location aside the hotel is perfect. The service was beyond what i am used to, the staff was an example of how it is supposed to be. The rooms were big and in pristine condition. We stayed 4 nights in...

Got upgraded to a bigger room which was nice with a nice view over the Chao Praya. The room itself is pretty much standard on a higher level. Had a light dinner meal on the rooftop restaurant. Food was below average and thus highly overpriced. WiFi was complimentary but did not work properly, laptop & mobile always lost connection.

The hotel was ok. Nothing to complain about. The roof top bar was the highlight for us. It's quite an experience to sit in a bar so high up with no roof. One level down we enjoyed some live music by a woman with a lovely voice.

So I spent quite a while searching for hotels in BKK, as there is so much choice and competition. Anyway, I made the best choice possible :) This was our first stay in a Banyan Tree hotel, and it surpassed our expectations. Service was impeccable, the club floor (19th floor) was more than worth the extra cost - they serve...

My husband and I went on the Aspara dinner cruise in mid-January 2017. Despite the total chaos at the riverfront with many boats leaving at around the same time, we were pleasantly surprised at how relaxing, quite, and serene our Aspara cruise was. The food was great. The service was superb. The river is gorgeous at night-- such a beautiful...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
