The room has suite layout: bedroom and living room. So you feel you are at home. It has a lot of amenity including bath menu, scent candle, etc. It has a beautiful rooftop bar so you can relax in your hotel without wandering the city to find a good one. Staffs were really kind and I had a bad skin...

Hotel situated in the business area, although a short walk from many bars, restaurants, shopping including the famous pat pong marker. Sky train also nearby within 10 mins walk. The staff and service was second to none a little hiccup was compensated by a wonderful surprise on returning to our room after dinner. The room size and bathroom was huge...

Room: we booked a two bedroom suite, it's very spacious and comfortable though it looks kind of dated. The steam room concept in the bathroom is wonderful. The sink doesn't really work though, the water flow is very congested. Having various pillow options is great, love the robe and slippers provided and well laid out for us. We even got...

My wife and I have just spent 2 nights in an Oasis Serenity double room on the 27th floor. Main room area felt a bit small, but bed was comfy and large. Coffee machine was hard to work out and did not seem to work properly. Having the wardrobe in the bathroom is a bit inconvenient when there are 2...

Booked a club room with lounge access at a rate similar to other 5 star properties The room was ok but nothing to WoW about but it had a good view of the city. But at night time all you can hear is other doors being slammed. After mentioning this and was moved to a room which had not been...

The rooftop bar is worth a visit for the views but, beyond that, the clientele are pretty overly impressed by themselves. and the bar adopts a fairly old school dress policy of no shorts though, kind of bizarrely, are happy to lend anyone showing up in shorts (as I did- though they weren't exactly beach shorts) a selection of ill...

We stayed 3 nights at the Banyan Tree Hotel. We stayed in a suite and had a fantastic experience. The suite was spacious, the bathrooms very well appointed with a huge shower and large tub. The spa was amazing. What was great is that the hotel is close to the BTS metro line. We walked 10 minutes to the Sala...

We rented a suite at Banyan. The iron was full of dirt and leaking ruining two shirts. The shower suddenly became very hot after a couple of minutes, burning me. At arrival they did not take Visa debet for depositum payment. Neither did they accept foreign currency, even though they stated they did both in their hotel guide. It took...

We stayed in the hotel on the first evening of our Honeymoon trip. It was absolutely fabulous. We had drinks at the Vertigo bar and Dinner in Saffron restaurant. Considering this to be a 5 star hotel the rates are really good. I will return here any time.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
