The first night we were put up in their 3 rd wing. Old building needs complete renovation and infested with cockroaches, after many complaints, we were finally shifted to their 1st wing, which was in a slightly better condition, but also infested with cockroaches (albeit...More

This hotel offers a great value for money. I booked a junior suite - it was really spacious. It really needs a serious refurbishment though. The furniture were pretty old with some serious wear and tear signs. The room air conditioners need to be checked...More
I have been staying at Grand President since 2011. Sadly, every year I return I find it less and less appealing.

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Hotels in Bangkok, Thailand, cost less than comparable ones in other major metropolitan areas. Also, just like airlines, the exact same accommodation can cost a lot less or a lot more, depending on how and when you make the reservation. About the most expensive rate is when you book directly with the hotel, instead of going through an intermediary like Expedia, TripAdvisor, etc.
As such, nobody can give you a price comparison between hotels
Lastly, price should not be the sole consideration. Location matters a lot because of the convenience of going places from a hotel. Also, some quoted prices include a scrumptious breakfast and some don't.

fry eggs. In addition fried eggs are also placed in the breakfast
