I spent 3 nights at this hotel in the middle of March with my husband and our 2 boys (7, 9). The front lobby is nice but feels a bit claustrophobic heading towards the elevators (ceilings are pretty low) and the smell in the lobby is extremely fragrant and quite overwhelming for my liking. We paid just over $350 CDN...

This was first trip to Bangkok, the hotel was great and met our expectations. The restaurants in the hotel are all very good, Indian, Mexican and Italian. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms have everything we require. The staff are very friendly especially in the lobby bar ( thank you Elouise) The pool area and drinks service at...

We stayed here for 3 nights on a bed & breakfast basis. The choice for breakfast was very good. The pool area was nice although it did get quite busy at times. Although the hotel is within walking distance of the Skytrain, its location is a long way from the old part of Bangkok where all the temples are. The...

We stayed again for the fourth time at the Rembrandt. Had the pleasure of having access to the lounge where we had our breakfast and snacks between 17:30 to 19:30. High quality splendid view and excellent service. The hotel is situated in the Sukhumvit area which is full of life without being noisy. The staff is very kind and helpful....

Happy with the room, awesome food and helpful staff. Bunk beds in room for two kids were awesome. Pool was excellent, particularly when you had a long hot day you just want to take a dip. Buffet breakfast had plenty of variety and quality food. It's an older hotel but it's still nice, would definitely stay again. Location is good,...

Very nice hotel in a quieter part of Bangkok but easy access to all places of interest using the nearby Sky Train. Good facilities all round and very nice pool and bar area. We used Travel East for 2 excellent sightseeing trips. Very good start to our Thailand 3 center holiday.

Stayed twice at this hotel while we travelled around Bangkok. Check in was a breeze. Had the family room which came with bunk beds for the kids. Room was spacious and the bathroom had a stand in shower and a tub. Kids enjoyed the pool on the 4th floor. Sunchairs were always full with people enjoying the weather. Had the...

Left the Rembrandt hotel yesterday after a three night stay, a good hotel that is clean and the staff are helpful, be aware that anything you order has a 17% charge added for service and vat. The pool is good and beds are readily available. The food is nice and reasonably priced and there is also a long happy hour...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
