Tawana Bangkok Hotel is located in the central of Silom - a stone's throw to Patpong Night Bazaar and the street markets. The hotel itself looks very dated and the room is very old. Quite a few F&B outlets but slightly pricey compared to the restaurants and pubs nearby. Will consider other newer hotels in the area.

The hotel its very old, but in perfect location for reasonable price. Very bad its you can not open windows in the room. Breakfast are very nice, wifi worked perfect. High prices in cafe and restaurant. Overpriced for "visitors"

I had a king or super king bed (in an executive room) and the toilet had one of these super modern electronic wc. Staff was very kind and available all the time. They have sooo many people working in there. Rich breakfast for every taste

We stayed here for 5 nights. It is in a good location and the service was very good at the hotel. They were helpful when it came to directions and were efficient in assisting us. It was a good price, I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that they charge for Internet in the rooms, this seems a bit...

This hotel is a little tired and would benefit from an upgrade. Breakfast was lovely with a great variety. I didn't feel any of the usual warmth you do when travelling in Thailand at this hotel however it was good for us for one night before travelling to Hua Hin. It is in a great location if you want to...

My husband and i spent 6 nights here while travelling through Thailand. On arrival reception had upgraded our room, at no extra cost. Lovely! We found all the staff at the hotel to be very helpful and friendly, particularly on reception and spoke very good English. Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious and cleaned / serviced daily. The public...

2 good nights for our visit in Bangkok. The personnel is very kind and helpful, good breakfast and our room was already ready at 9 a.m. (very helpful after 11 hrs of flight). Not noise in the rooms (at least from our room at the 6th floor) even if the hotel is located in a crowded area especially in the...

this hotel is so nice. conveniently located. was decorated by Thai style. In the room something looks ancient but convenient to use. however I think the water in room is so expensive, but free water is in bathroom. (Actually, free water should be on table,I thought) officers, receptionist, waiters and waitress are so nice guys, lots of spirit. Good experience to...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
