Enjoyed my 4 day stay at the hotel but somehow seems a lot needs improvement in terms of the hotel itself. The old carpets in the hallway smelled very bad and fortunately my room didn't have any carpet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant also needs a lot improvement. The TV channels were very bad and the...

This is a four star hotel according to the hotel itself. I won't give it more that 3 stars. The hotel lobby, rooms and corridors are clean of good decorated. The personal are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is not of the level of four stars. To much rice, noddles and vegetables and fruit, which might be a traditional Thai...

We had a 3 nights stay during Chinese New Year (end of January) 2017. Room was okay, but you can see some ageing signs. Carpets were dirty, toilet is small (the shower is really-really small for an asian petite like me, I can't imagine how a caucasian could shower in it ) and TV was outdated (you know, the big...

I stayed at Marvel for 2 nights traveling between cities for work. It was way more comfortable than I expected. The room is spacious and comfy, and the bed was glorious. I slept 14 hours my first night! The staff was very kind and helpful. It is a 10 minute walk from the BTS, but I always prefer hotels that...

You can get a good deal on this hotel if you look on the relevant sites etc and go at the right time. The rooms are great although the bathroom could do with a little attention. Having a tub is nice and very rare for Thailand. Gym is spacious and has a fair few machines. Didn't try the breakfast. Swimming...

The location is a bit far around 1.2 kms from the Central sukhumbit road however again considering the money paid its worth it. The location is easily accessible as it's opposite JW Marriott. In nutshell value for money.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
