We stayed here for a week during a recent work trip to Bangkok. THe rooms are quite basic with very few amenities, something you come to expect in a modern hotel. There was not kettle, no hair dryer and the soap and shampoo in the bathroom reminded me of my gym. The same no name stuff in plastic dispensers. The...

I stayed in a 'Premier' room. I did not book breakfast. What I found good: - Dispensable shampoo and shower gel. - Fresh clean towels. - Room was generally clean and certainly insect free. - Air con was fine enabling a range of temperatures, and kept a good level of humidity. - A fridge with complimentary water. What I found...

I requested to pay for using internet but the reception is not welcome me at all, they talked in Thailand to me. But actually its still not good. The other...

Hotel and room is expected of a typical city hotel. However hotel service staff do not greet guests when they see you. This is in contrast to a resort hotel I stayed prior in Kachanaburi. Bathroom amenities are also very basic, not what I expect of a hotel in Bangkok.

For only $55 a night in a major city close to large department stores, markets and an abundance of eating places you really can't go wrong. The rooms are clean, most with a kingsize bed, approx 90 tv Chanel's, though only a few in English, cheap room service and a $4 taxi ride to Khao San road, it really is...

Located opposite Tesco Lotus and a few minutes walk from Central Plaza Shopping Mall, Pin Klao, this is a budget hotel which has basic but clean rooms Very little English is spoken so it can be a little difficult for foreigners to communicate. Hairdryers, tissues, coffee making facilities etc are notable by their absence. OK for a night which is...

I had stayed and worked in Thailand in the past for 3 years and SD Ave Hotel is not new to me either because I used to stay in one of the LPN condo around Pinklao area. Moreover, my ex-company often put our overseas' guests in this hotel, due to its proximity to the factory in the up-country. Recently, when...

Have to say this hotel is very far from downtown of Bkk and the only public transportation you can take is the taxi, forget 'bout the buses, they are too crowded and dirty to take. The hotel's service and the sleep quality are very very good! Thumbs up! Their staffs are helpful and friendly. Breakfast's ok. The Lotus shopping center...

The hotel is mainly used by Thais and is considered a fairly good hotel, and it is. For only about 30 Aussie dollars you get a clean room with cable tv, cheap room service and a hotel that is located 10 minutes by foot to one of Bangkoks larger suburban shopping centers...Central Pinklao, plus Tesco, and numerous other shops and...
