My brother in law and his wife went to this hotel. The hotel was not as good as its showing in its website. The food was not up to the mark, the room was not as expected and over and above they found coackroaches everywhere in the room including their bed. When they complained about it and asked to move...

Very tired rooms but they are really spacious. My view of the carpark was most un-exciting but it was very quiet. Breakfast wasn't too bad compared to some reviews, enough to choose from. Wifi was dreadful. Daytime security guard was exceptional in all aspects, a real asset to the hotel. I would consider staying here again.

Can you imagine spending a night in an air conditioned room of a 4 stat hotel with no cooling when outside temperature is 34 degrees. It was a horrible experience with a group of 33 persons including kids. The hotel staff had one answer always, the second unit will start soon and the cooling will increase. And you have no...

The Manhattan is well located in Sukhumvit and provides all amenities including free wifi and breakfast buffet. The rooms are a bit tired, but were clean and kept well by housekeeping. Our bad experience was with the day manager. The a/c in our three rooms was blowing basically nothing. In Bangkok this is a disaster in May. The manager was...

We had a one night stay at Bangkok and it was Manhattan at sukhumvit. We loved the stay. Rooms were big and clean. Staff were friendly. Especially Nidda at the restaurant was so welcoming that we chose to have our dinner there. We would be coming back!

At first glance the hotel is nice, staff are friendly, room is tired but adequate and the breakfast it basic but ok. Unfortunatly if you like to go to the toilet and shower alone then this is not the hotel for you. Cockroaches have packed their bags and decided to stay here also. Several are in the bathroom and even...

The location is perfect, the rooms are really nice sized, the bathroom has a bathtub and the people who work there are super friendly, professional and nice ! Two times I experienced a problem with my room and after the 2nd. time the receptionist came up and got me a new room. I will come back again !

The hotel was comfortable and all things were there. Was accessible from Asok BTS station and just 3 minutes walk. I was little alarmed by the hotel receptionist behavior when they were got rude when i asked about early check in i do understand the hotel was full but dont need to be rude :)

As part of our plan to experience new hotels in Bangkok and to have comparative ideas for future recommendations, we changed to Manhattan Hotel from Salil. And, since checked in, we were little disappointed to seeing the Hotel is ageing and there lacks the visible sign of renovation investment. We should say housekeeping needs improvement, bathroom is not up to...

Only stayed here for 1 night. The hotel is very nice, friendly staff and clean rooms. The Location is really good in the Sukhumvit area and if your looking to experience the Bangkok nightlife this is a place for you. This hotel is on the older side but has character and charm. Breakfast was average however did the trick. For...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
