I stayed at Salil hotel for a week. Dont waste your money there, stay here. Bed was super comfortable, the huge walk in shower was amazing and as hot as you want! Big room with balcony and a pool! I will be back in Bangkok in 10 days and will be staying there again!

I had the opportunity to spend 4 nights in early January in one of the large corner rooms with a balcony overviewing Sukhumvit Road. The large bathtub with separate shower was just wonderful after a long day in Bangkok, as well as the great pool located next to the terrace bar, 'The Green Parrot' were cold refreshments are in arms...

The rooms are nicely appointed. The bathroom was HUGE, there was a bathtub and a separate shower stall in our room; we got a king-bed room with a balcony for our stay. It was nice to be able to have a feel for the din of Bangkok when the weather was cool and dry. Service was as always excellent, the...

I stayed here a few nights. The location is great walking distance from public transport including two skytrain stations, the rooms are spacious and well equipped. I found the staff a bit unhelpful when upon check in, i was told breakfast was included in my room rate but when i went the next morning, i was turned away or asked...

I moved to this hotel after spending a week in a nice but cramped room elsewhere. For 1,800 baht a night I got a huge room that was perfect for me. No noise from the main road or trains. It was nicely presented even with mood lighting which was a nice touch. The pool is nice and the bar person...

The location of the hotel has the best of both worlds, very quiet in Soi 29 only about a hundred meters from Sukhumvit Road but walking distance from the bustling nightlife in Soi Cowboy, and just opposite from Soi 22 where there are bars, restaurants and massage parlors galore. An inviting lobby and friendly reception staff are ready to attend...

This is a nice hotel. The rooms are huge along with bathroom. It located close to Sukhumvit but far enough away not to hear it. I would recommend this hotel to business people or older couples. This is not a place to sit around the pool all day. Its surrounded by big buildings so you dont get the sun all...

We had the corner suit, and boy was it pretty! Spacious room, bathroom as big as the room, a small balcony and a nice in built closet with a safe. Excellent customer service at the reception and otherwise too- even if they knew very little English. Had breakfast one day during the stay. Wasn't bad: juice, cereal, bread, croissants, egg...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
