We stayed in this hotel only for a weekend but we were very satisfied with the location and the service. Even though you are 5 min walking form Kao San Road, this place is very quiet and you will get a good sleep without being annoyed by the crazy nightlife that is happening just 2 blocks far from you. On...

My partner and I stayed 4 nights at the Warehouse. It's ideally located if you want to be near the main attractions (as long as you just don't want to go shopping in the large malls). The area is not flash but it's safe. Yes, the streets around are not super clean and there are beggars and prostitutes but that's...

Very clean hotel with amazingly friendly stuff, happy to help. Breakfast choice not very large, but fresh and good food. Rooms pretty large, recently renovated. Location is good - though neighborhood as it is in Bangkok old town filled with night flies. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel - good value for the price.

It's an interesting concept. Do a place up to look like a hospital basement, furnish the rooms with packing crates and charge extra for the experience. Actually, I shouldn't be too harsh. The hotel is clean, well managed and all of the staff were above average. The street, at night, is a bit grotty but we felt safe and the...

Good little hotel in the city for budget travellers. Great location. Easy to get around. Staff were helpful and lovely to deal with. Would definitely recommend to those on a budget and wanting a clean place to stay.

I am surprised about all the positive reviews this hotel got. The location is near to the Grand Palace and that's about it. It is very far from anywhere else you want to visit in Bangkok. You have to take taxis everywhere due to no public transport this far down, and since it is so far, you have to pay...

We have been there in Jan 2015 and my plan was to book it again for Jan next year. I think 36€ was a good price for this hotel. It is new, clean, very friendly stuff and we really liked the location. What we noticed already - they charge you for all the extras and just to call a taxi...

It is located in good location, near many attractive places such as Kaosan, Banglumpoo, Praarthid Road,Ratchadamnoen Road, etc. The room is clean. The staff is nice. But the water shower is slow. Air condition is not cool but ok.

My first impression upon arriving at this hotel from the airport at past midnight was sort of uncertainty as it was not my usual idea of a hotel. True to its name, all its features reminded me of a warehouse. At first, I was entertained thoughts of transferring but decided to give it a try for the night. I was...

Located on the corner of a busy road in the Historical district of the City making a vast number of the temples and other great sites within easy walking distance. Along with the great price was the reason we chose this hotel last year. We were a little apprehensive upon reading the reviews of guests being hassled by the working...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
